Probably to do with who Chris's father is
MTP
Shumer: He [Alito] has said a few 'extreme' things....that's why these are 'extreme'...
[Shumer seems to be ready to use the 'extreme' card]
But he's just so adorable. ;)
Thanks Bahbah! I guess compared to Schume, and in his mind, Ginsberg IS mainstream.
Schumer is going to get his rear end handed to him and when Alito gets on the SC Ginsberg will look even more foolish and radical.
Graham is doing an ok job so far -- discussing the double standard applied by the democrats in the judicial nomination and selection process.
Rats. Cornyn is good. If MTP won't allow him to speak his mind, there's little reason to watch it. Thanks for the heads up, I won't consider it anymore.
19% of respondents were not even eligible to vote. Of remaining, there's no indication of how many of them actually went to the polls in 2004. The poll is slanted 52-40% towards Democrats, even though the voters in the 2004 election were split evenly at 37% between Republicans and Democrats. Next, a whopping 19% of respondents had "no" religion, while in 2004 only 10% of voters had "no" religion, and they voted overwhelmingly for Kerry (+36%).
Cornyn did get a chance to make some comments. The whole thing from Schumer's point of view is abortion, abortion, abortion. Schumer is setting up for a filibuster.
Thanks. Graham leans left, but he's also one of those controlling the group of misfits on filibusters, so he's one who can sway the outcome.
Feinstein sees Alito as filibuster material because she remembers girls committing suicide and going to Tijuana.
Graham is going to do what McCain tells him to do.
EXACT same thing from Finstein on FOX and Chris Wallace.
ABORTION, ABORTION, ABORTION. Could cause her to filibuster. Jeez!
Sounds about right. For all the claims of abortion being a conservative issue, Democrats are the ones coming unhinged over the issue. They have to. Democrat special interest groups are expecting them to be hard line on favoring abortion on demand.
Perhaps, but I doubt it. They just seem to be of like minds on many issues to me. But, I've been wrong in the past so I may not be the best judge of that.
C-Span: Black woman caller from DC says she's been having trouble w/her phone ever since Bush became President. Complaints to the phone company has gotten her refunds. Poor thang.
Been watching. It appears Mona is in a cat fight. The more the left speaks out the more they expose themselves. Mona is holding her own too. Yea!
