John Cornyn is W's man in the senate. When he was elected in 2002, he moved into Phil Gramm's position before January. He was in DC in December of 2002. Phil Gramm if you'll remember stepped down early and Cornyn was appointed by Gov Perry as senator even before they were sworn in in January. I found this move very interesting and puzzling.

Sen. Phil Gramm Retiring Early
Last Updated: Nov. 20, 2002 at 6:04:25 p.m.
WASHINGTON - Outgoing Sen. Phil Gramm said Wednesday that he would retire early, allowing the governor of Texas to appoint Sen.-elect John Cornyn to finish the last month of his term.

Does FR have Risen's bio anywhere?

I'm curious about his expertise in protecting a nation of millions.

Seriously, I wonder if he is just one of the NYT idiot bathhouse boys that permeate their so-called newsroom, just another DNC hack pretending to be a reporter, and if he is a reporter, what has he reported on?

Just remember, Joseph Kennedy is loved by every scotch drinking person in America. He singlehandedly smuggled enough scotch into America to sustain its popularity.

Chances are we will only hear about the other 3, not the 51.

Our friend Screamin' Howard Dean is on CNN calling for Rummy's resignation because of the failure to provide body armor. Wolf asks him if he is blaming the President for elections in Bolivia. It's Bush's fault.

Oh, I forgot to mention, Schumer says that Harry Reid is coming out with a "plan" to restore ethics to congress.

They must be keeping this plan with all their other unpublished plans. LOL!

I think even Blitzer was stunned a bit by his interview with Howard Dean. Howard said NO DEMS had gotten money from Abramoff and it was Republicans that were stealing from Indian tribes. There must be at least a dozen soundbites with a high humor quotient just out of this one interview.

Feinstein just admitted that she will be supporting a filibuster against Judge Alito.

Bring it on. Then we can fix this problem once and for all and tell Mcvain and Goober to take their powdered wigs home and STFU.

After listening to the NYT`s James Risen on MTP, I'm convinced he needs to be indicted for treason. The US is at war and no American has any right to endanger any US citizens by revealing possible secret internal workings of US intelligence agencies. Risen is a smug a-hole who needs to cool his big liberal mouth and spend time behind bars.

AMEN - couldn't agree more. He and the RATs are hiding behind the "Whistle blower" excuse for this leak, unlike the hypocritical leak of that Valarie Flame lady. Need some serious time behind bars for this one - a Whistle blower protection is not afforded someone who runs to the MSM with NATIONAL SECRETS, whether we are in a time of war or not. The people that leaked this and the people that printed it all know this and they should be frog marched. How can we as citizens make our opinions on this issue known? And don't say write your Congresscritter or the DOJ - have already done that but it makes no difference.

You are oh so correct -- old media never discusses the Kennedy problem with Mary Jo. This does remind of an instance that happened a few years back, I think it was during the debate in the Senate regarding Ashcroft. Kennedy went on a typical tirade...shortly thereafter, Senator Smith (who no longer is in the senate) took to the floor and stated "at least Ashcroft never left the scene of a crime". I almost fell off my chair watching that. It was a priceless moment.

They get their news from MTV and the light late night chat shows.

Bingo! You have hit the nail on the head when discussing what is wrong with the MSM and this country. MTV as a source of news and knowledge - come on.

The sad thing is that Kennedy is so thick skinned I supsect it was just like water off a duck's back and I bet it did not phase him one bit.
