Serious question - how many speeches are you aware of that President Bush gave this week? I'm sure you know that "MSM" does NOT want to help President Bush to use his bully pulpit, so I wonder how much of his effort this past week made it to your knowledge (unless you already know his schedule from reading FR.)

I would love to do a poll on how many speeches he gives vs how many public appearances people believe he has.

wanted to set my VCR and went to the Whitehouse website; no help
went to Scott McClellan's press briefing which I read as reporting that Bush was going to Chicago on Thursday. I knew that was wrong!
I called the White House switchboard, to be told that they could not give out the info about the President's whereabouts! Okay.

CSPAN was not helpful.

Deserves prison whether he divulges his source or not. How can a reporter refuse to divulge the source when a felony has been committed? I must be missing something here, 'cause makes no sense. You are so right - it is going to be an uphill battle going into '06 midterm because the MSM is going to do everything to beat down the Republicans and throw 100% of their support to the RATs, even if it means running LIES night and day. They have already started with their bogus polling results.

Very true virtually everyday he gives a speech but how often is it reported. Sometimes it is relayed live on the White House Website but not always, though the transcripts are there.

Here are the January ones so far as you can see he has made a speech as I mentioned virtually everyday.

Juan is a token moron. Whenever I see that he will be appearing on TV I switch channels. He's such an idiot that his "loseral" drivel is not even entertaining. At least some other liberal commentators are good for a laugh or to get the ticker pumped up before going out to exercise.

Lately, he can be seen regularly on the O'Reilly Factor. Perhaps BOR needs to change the name of his show to "The O'Reilly Factor with Juan Williams". Whenever I see this idiot on the tube, my automatic reflexes take over and I change channels.

when I was at the computer shope yesterday the guy tried to sell me a $2,000 "gaming" computer for my son..LOL! I said that thing is worth more than BOTH of our cars.....

"he'd LOVE it!" the guy said...

I replied, "I'D LOVE IT! But I am single mom of 3, he'll get what he gets."

Then He tried to tell me that Windows XP will not run anything less than 512 RAM...LOL! I said it runs on mine..with 64RAm plus the 128 I added.....

Then he said- well maybe that is why it isn't working now...

I rolled my eyes and said- "No- it ran for a good year with it just fine. Look- I am going to buy a computer...pipe down on the hard sales and I might buy it from you....but first, let's see how fair you are too me with fixing this one...

He was much nicer after that! LOL! (I use to be a service adviser for a dealership, so I know how this sales crapt works.......if this guy wasn't so close and convenient- I'd a walked out....but since he was 'easily tamed'- I will give him a shot....)

You bet - I think we should all contact our phone companies and internet providers and make them prove we have not been intercepted. If they can't prove it then demand a refund under your 4th amendment rights.

I hadn't heard that Harman recanted her support for the surveillance (doing a 180). My take of her reported rhetoric is that she still holds that the surveillance is in the national interest, but that briefings to Congress are/were not as broad as what the Congressional reporting statute prescribes.
