Yes, even The Music Hall is planning regular podcasts, to highlight upcoming shows with samples and little interviews, etc, about 5-10 minutes each.
We also intend to publish special podcasts featuring debates, interviews and shows recorded at events. Enjoy!
Anyone with a computer can listen to a podcast
You don't have to have an mp3 player (like an iPod), you can download and listen on your computer. The easiest way to get started is to download the program "iTunes" from Apple. (direct link here) iTunes makes thousands of podcasts available for free, including the Music Hall Podcasts (you can acces our podcasts from this page directly, of course) The nature of a podcast is that iTunes (or other podcasting-programs) will automatically look for new epsiodes of your selected program until you unsubscribe. SPECIAL PODCAST
Our first podcast is the Iraq debate, presented by popdebate.com, held at The Music Hall on December 20, 2005. Moderated by Jay Diamond (replacing Laura Flanders last-minute) it featured former UN Weapons Inspector Scott Ritter and Vanity Fair columnist Christopher Hitchens. Sound Engineer for the event was Tim Brady of Edit Audio.

"When you're absolutely certain she's not a cop"
Hitchens will clean Ritter's clock.
I listened to it. Hitchens gutted and filleted him
Thanks for the ping, I'm looking forward to listening.
<< This debate between an intelligent conservative .... >>
Mr Hitchens, although he may very well be intelligent - shows signs, anyway - is a radical socialist.
Thanks for posting! BTTT

Yikes... I was too quick to get my digs in on Ritter...the pedophile traitor...
There should be a published transcript. It would be a shame if this debate were lost on old links.
Ritter has always mystified me. His statement that he would rather live under Saddam Hussein than US occupation is the inevitable and crazy conclusion of his passionate, but ill-conceived ideology. He can't find the forest for the trees.
And Hitchens is right. The fact that we have a Brit explaining the War on Terror to us, is a sorry commentary on the state of our republic.
<< Ritter ... the pedophile traitor ... >>
Yep.
Dirty thirty bits o' Soddom's silver Scott Ritter.
The Burger King Kid.
<< Ritter, a self-declared Reagan Republican is psychotically, suicidally wrong, while Hitchens, a more-or-less-ex radical socialist is a better defender of American principles and policies than the actual admintration.
Maybe labels are a bit less useful than you seem to think. >>
Maybe the convicted child sexual criminal, activist-"Democrat" and Saddam Hussayne payrolled traitor, Ritter, is a good enough liar to convince you he was ever a Reagan Republican but, from the perspective of a former empoyee of Mr Reagan, I'll judge Mr Ritter on his actions and, to borrow your language, "label" him a treasonous sociopath.
And agree with you wholeheartedly about the more-or-less-ex radical socialist and better defender of American principles and policies than the actual administration, Mr Hitchens.
Who has occasionally and astutely observed that if only the administration itself wasn't so f...ed-up, it would learn to speak adequately and/or competently for itself - and thus permit Mr Hitchens more time off!
Blessings - Brian

Hear! Hear!
Indeed! We need more people with the eloquence and intellectual caliber of Mr. Hitchens on our side. He is one of the very, very few socialists who have ideals and principles.
bump
He believes in principles!
