I love it all.
A woman I knew here went to San Diego and took a day trip to TJ. Went down the street tipping several or the Mariachis and requesting "La Bamba" (Only tune she knew) and had a "Battle of the Bands" going.
She was a Portagee.

Here's a comp for you, if you have it:
Woody Herman: "Woodchopper's Ball" (originally recorded on a 78 rmp record).
Ten Years After: "Woodchopper's Ball" (originally recorded on a 33 1/3 record but the band played the song at 78 rpm speed!)

Since we are having a John Prine fest (thank you , thank you), if you want to play "in spite of ourselves" (with Iris!, she rules!) that would be great. If cranky hubby and I ever actually get legally remarried (which I'm sure we will, why shoud the evil gubmint get all my soc. sec $) that will be our theme song, err, wedding song.
I love you gals and guys, and I just hope I'm not being out of line silly.
