In 1999, the American Israel Public Affairs Committee paid $300 for transportation to Delray Beach, Fla., and $40 for meals for Pelosi to appear at a reception and briefing.”

Nancy's words will come back and bite her, and when they do, she'll spin, she'll point fingers, she may even cry. But seeing how this scandal may touch almost every United States Senator, Pelosi may be lamenting how lousy she'll look wearing orange...

It's bound to happen. Her good 'Bud' Harry Reid across the hallway already did. Remember the December 18, 2005 thread of Sen. Reid calls US Congress 'most corrupt in history' found at http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1542940/posts. It was a hoot.

Things like "the Republican-led Congress is the most corrupt in history", "Don't lump me in with Jack Abramoff. This is a Republican scandal," as well as that tried and true slogan when the Democrats have accused Republicans of "a culture of corruption,".

Anyone who thinks this will be handled evenhandedly by the MSM need only look at how they portrayed the DeLay indictment with yesterday's fine paid by HRC's campaign.

Don't know about you, but I didn't hear a peep about the latter story on local media. Of course, her campaign was found guilty, while DeLay was actually accused...hey, wait a minute...
