More Alito (Man to smear Alito OFF witness list!)

I could turn out to be totally wrong, but that Drudge scoop about the Alito witness strikes me as old news. Senate sources tell me that this particular witness, anyway, has been taken care of--is off the list because of an unrelated problem. More in Bench Memos. Update: Senate sources confirm the guy Drudge is writing about is no longer on the witness list--a rumor Bench Memos relayed about an hour ago.

Dang. I was hoping for another Dem hissy fit. I'm sure they'll think of something else.

Maybe the Republicans could call the guy in themselves to querry him concerning Democratic Party conspiracies against Alito.

Let me get this straight. This guy was 'going' to 'testify' to these absurdities, said 'never mind' but we still get treated to this BS via the press.
Do I have their game plan correct?
To: hipaatwo
Alito would listen to the question and say "Robert Byrd associated with racists, and yet he's gone on to quite the career in your party, Senator Boxer."

The libs aren't going to give up their abortion fetish without vomiting all over the airwaves for months.
They love the power that fascist eugenics represents.

Regardless, if the Democrats want to repeat the Thomas nomination fight, Republicans should be ready and willing to pull out the big guns and fight until the other side is toast.

The
DrudgeReport is reporting that Senate Democrats will attempt to destroy the nomination of Judge Alito to the US Supreme Court by bringing forth hersay and biased testimony before the Judicial committee. Democrat members of the Judicary Committee have posted their "Witness List" in opposition to the Nomination of Judge Alito and part of that list includes Stephen R. Dujack.
Senator Leahy, upon posting the Press Release on his senatorial website, says Stephen Dujack is the the editor of an environmental magazine in Washington and a freelance writer. A quick search on the Internet turned up that Stephen R. Dujack has written an article in the Daily Princetonian that basically slams Alito because he belonged to a college organization called CAP that Stephen hates. The Magazine Sen Lehey referenced is called "The Enviromental Forum" and is the Propaganda rag of the Enviromental Law Institute of which he is a Staff Member.

OK, either the dims are reading Powerline blog or my posts on FR referring to Powerline, because I posted a link to the expose that Powerline did on this clown. He has some REALLY BAD baggage to carry around.
I guess loose lips sink more than ships.

Thats pretty damn funny when a planned leak is made from a confrence call by the dims and subsequently the the plan collapses before the call is complete.
Give them the Rosann Rosana-Dana award. Never Mind.
To: hipaatwo
Sorry, I thought the sarcasm was obvious. But you never know with Kos.

He's been dropped from the witness list, so next he'll become an "anonymous source" for the New York Times. Watch.
