NO DRINKING & DRIVING! Putting,yes.
Where have you been?!

A week or two ago I was having a hard time finding "cigar-friendly" lounges ... in LAS VEGAS, of all places. What the heck are you doing in a lounge? Virtually all casinos will let you smoke a stick at the gaming tables. Better casinos will comp you a cigar and a Courvoisier.

Leiney's: Leinenkugel's, pride of Chiipewa Falls, WI. Leisey's lost out to the "Beasts" some time ago. Glad Leineys has survived the megabeer barons.
Always felt Bud, Miller, etc., really did us a disservice when all the local breweries closed.
The only beer worst than these was Van Merritt. ;^)

It would take a real stupid drunk not to realize how fast a warm can of beer can be chilled by spinning it on top of a mound of ice. We'd all be in trouble if those drunks figured out that about 10 seconds with the fire extinguisher will knock a 12 pack down close to freezing. It's expensive (if the extinguishers are yours), but it's fast.

Alter, who has been a police offer for more than 20 years, said Thursday. So.. he's like a bribe, right?

Yes, I've heard that before. I guess if I had some good pub beer from the UK, it would probably be good. I couldn't imagine trying to get a warm Budweiser down though. I'd have to hold my nose.

I don't know why he was zotted. I heard this story on the radio coming in this morning and groaned.

And some beer is pretty nasty if you let it get that warm.
Currently enjoying Michelob Amber Bock. The colder the better.

"Serious drunks don't even know that the beer is warm or cold."
And they probably don't care either.

Here most people will drink and drive because you are just as likely to get a public intox ticket if you decide to walk home. Most people figure you might as well limit your exposure and just drive home from the bar instead of walking. Either way you could land in the drunk tank.

We need to revolt or something. Everyone at 8:00 on Friday night (tonight) pop open a beer in retaliation of this stupid proposal.
Great Idea! I'm going to start practicing now!
To: add925
Worst beer I ever drank was "Meister Brau." Before that, it was "Old Milwaukee" - which tasted like watered down rubbing alcohol.
Anyway, all this fuss about cold beer when I think the real problem is those "nips" that all the liquor stores sell at the checkout counter. These are the little bottles that you normally get on airplanes. I can't imagine people buy these to take home to their liquor cabinet. Obviously these are bought for the ride home.

Retread? Did the Mod spot a zotted IP address?
To: RonF
But it'll at least keep breweries from selling something that's half beer and half saki (e.g., Budwesier). LOL!!!! Budsake, so that the trick?

I don't know why he was zotted. The sarcastic pairing of "my Baby Jesus" with beer in comment #1, and I'm pretty sure this is a regular.
To: TheForceOfOne; A Jovial Cad
If Jovial Cad is a mod and spotted the IP address, that would make sense.
I don't see a reason why folks would zot a guy just because he signed up today and posted a non-partisan story.
