This article concerns me. I have been reading about Abramof in the news, but this information makes me sick. I believe that GOP leaders need to be more careful who that suck up to for fund-raising. Clinton was not picky, he sucked up to all kinds, including the CHICOMS, but the GOP must set a better example.
I think this scandal will hurt anyone associated with Abramof. Even if Delay was not involved in his illegal activities, the fact that he associated so closely with him is not good at all.

The GOP in 1994 ran on an agenda of cleaning house (not to mention the Contract With America). They need to set the example.
Abramoff makes anyone who associated with him (innocent or not) seem Clintonesque to the non-discerning person.

Reposted article that wasn't worth posting ONE time. Curious how this author failed to tie in the Democrats, including Sen Harry Reid, US Senate MINORITY Leader, with Abrahamoff. Sorry but hyperventilating about a "GOP" scandal while covering up the direct ties of the Democrat Leadership is intellectually dishonest.

whats a short version
Many charities will be getting a windfall from various politicians of both parties seeking to appear honorable by giving away those evil, dirty, now-revealed political contributions.

I disagree that this should be ignored. It should keep the GOP vigilant. We EXPECT the 'RATS to have deal regularly with shady characters.
