On January 4, 2006 at 5:00 p.m. (PST) the Rose Bowl Game will host the BCS National Championship, between USC and Texas once again showcasing the best of collegiate football in "The Granddaddy of Them All."® The Rose Bowl will be broadcast exclusively on ABC and on ESPN radio.
FSU played a hell of a game against a superior PSU team ranked #3. I think they more than showed why they will, for the foreseeable future, be given the benefit of the doubt.
FSU started a Freshman QB and other Freshmen all over the field on both sides of the ball. Did they deserve to be there over others? Probably not. Were the BCS folks kicking themselves for their pick after the game? Certainly not.
The Seminole Nation will be on the hunt again.
Finally back to back first downs.
Oregon sure as heck didn't belong in the BCS, just like Cal didn't belong last year. Both proved to be overrated and overranked, living on a bogus Pac10 reputation that turned out not be deserved. But of course they turn around and whine that anti-Pac10 bias kept them out.
USC offside.
FSU is probably on it's way up, but the ACC is going to improve as a whole next year as well.
momentum changing to Texas.
stupid move on Reggies part.
kewl
NICE play
Southern Cal collapses.
*not familiar with the guy as she doesn't typically follow college football* Is this his first Rose Bowl? Maybe his nerves are making him do too much too soon?
Looks like the MO has shifted to the Horns.
Late across the field...Vince, only in college, better stay another year...
So, while I'm in here screaming at the TV and FReeping - my kitchen nearly caught on fire.
DRINK!
Dasher can't cook... pass it on.
Need more baking soda, and a new broiler pan.
Papa Joe against Bobby Bowden. Doesn't get better than that in my humble opinion. Great game.
Vince Young amazes me as a runner.
he doesn't look like he is running that fast....
Hahaha, is Reggies middle name Al?
LINE OF THE DAY!
EXCELLENT!
Yep...USC would have had been in great field position. Totally changed the game.
LOL!!!!!!!!!
