On January 4, 2006 at 5:00 p.m. (PST) the Rose Bowl Game will host the BCS National Championship, between USC and Texas once again showcasing the best of collegiate football in "The Granddaddy of Them All."® The Rose Bowl will be broadcast exclusively on ABC and on ESPN radio.
Sometimes they believe their hype a little TOO much..
Just think...if he had come out last year..he would have been #1 draft pick for sure..
NOW...he might be #2..to his teammate...sorry, Leinart.
>>>Nice to meet you. We look really good for next year.<<<
We'll definitely miss Charlie Whitehurst (67.2% passing eff.). But if Clemson can equal him at QB they will have a great year--maybe a National Championship.
BTW, I went to school in the days of Coach Danny Ford; and I exchanged "Hi's" every day (one year) in the Math building with William Perry ("The Refrigerator"). We had classes at the same time, but in different rooms. He was one of the nicest(and biggest!) persons I have ever met.
That's spot on. Though that year there's no way LSU would have won AP if USC won BCS. No matter the outcome.
Yuppers, 512 does COME BEFORE 619, doesn't it?
Read this thread, especially in the 4th quarter.
I'd pick Vince Young. With the right coach, I think he could be a cross between Randall Cunningham and Steve Young.
I'd like to see him go to the Lions, but the Lions seem to ruin QB's.
Their are no coaches challenges in college ball.
Me too - they walked over UGA and Oklahoma very easily.
I am so happy they won too, all year long the Big 12 was made fun of and maligned. We have the National Title and highest win % in the bowls, and not against slack team either. Little 12 indeed.
Vince had something to prove tonight after losing the Heisman to Bush.
But he's inconsistent, not always this good. Texas A&M almost completely shut him down, and the Aggies were pretty sorry this year.
Great game.
LOL!
You've been drinking the liberal media kool-aid. You mean second National Championship.
Oh no. Maybe it was your spOUse, then.
Watch Reggie Bush run, and then watch LenDale White run. White definitely has the running style of an NFL back, while Bush does not.
>The only reason he stayed this year was to win a third national championship...<
He should have been concentrating instead on winning his second.
LOL
yeah but for a couple years, wow LOL
I dont know, that was a great one, the NU-FSU Orange Bowl in 1993 was great too, came down to a field goal with no time left. Missed, ugggh.
I'm praying the Eagles can get White in the draft. We have needed a back like him for years.
Young was so clutch. That's what separates the great from the very very good. Wow.
I thought he stayed to take BALLROOM DANCING!
