On January 4, 2006 at 5:00 p.m. (PST) the Rose Bowl Game will host the BCS National Championship, between USC and Texas once again showcasing the best of collegiate football in "The Granddaddy of Them All."® The Rose Bowl will be broadcast exclusively on ABC and on ESPN radio.

As far as UT being superior, I hope so but fear that comment is a bit premature. Besides, I am very superstitious and cannot concede anything, this game is HOT!

Damned refereeing should not be deciding these games. I feel bad for the players if this blown call is the potential difference. Bad for USC if it loses them the game, bad for Texas, because it would make them seem less legit.
Play should have been called back. Texas might have scored a touchdown the next play anyways.

Vince Young had an incredible run, and then pitched a lateral for a touchdown at the 10 yard line. Unfortunately right before he let go of the ball his knee hit the turf, and the refs just sat there like dopes instead of asking for a review while Texas rushed on an extra point try, which missed. You'd think that Texas hurrying so much on that extra point might have clued them in.
