Breaking on CNN live right now.
Hey, we've been on this story all day over here -- and we've got a guy in Hobbs who's been telling us everything:

My prayers added.
See post 89 to you -- adjust your mapping to show NE 63d and NE 50th at Sooner. This is the area. According to my scanner traffic, mostly centered at NE 63d & Sooner with movement to ENE due wind and embers.
Any word on Edmund?
Perhaps if you had to sort out the plethora of crap...
lol
...
Here in California , we call that going thru the election brochures, mailings and such. ;-)
It is the prairie!!!!!!!!!!!
Still south of edmond... and it's east of Edmond. East of I-35. Wind is out of the West southwest.
Local TV is not reporting anything active in Edmond at this time.
So reminiscent of Southern California.
Good luck to you and them. A real shame about these fires.
Thank you, I was fairly sure they were showing Guthrie in the pictures.
No mention of Lubbock where there were 15 fires earlier.
Thanks! I heard Guthrie and OKC and feared the worst since Edmund is between the two!
It's gonna be hard to fight. As you know, that's all woods out in the area east of Sooner south of the Turner Turnpike. There's some new development, of course, but plenty of dry fuel for fire. Not good.
Same south of you in Central Texas. I'm near Waco and we've had several grass fires around the county over the last week. I don't remember ever seeing a winter like this. The five day forecast calls for temperatures near 80, wind and no rain. Watching OKC and thinking "there but for the grace of God...."
Please don't take any unnecessary chances. Our prayers are with you.
Where is FEMA???
I found the GOES West sector for Oklahoma. I can not get my computer to show any images. Maybe someone else can see if the fires are showing up on satellite.

Live internet streaming video on any of the OKC stations? Links?
YUp. I posted in #92 that I found it. Thank you.
