A TEEN'S RESPONSE TO A MOONBAT CARTOONIST

In October, Atlanta Journal Constitution's left-wing cartoonist Mike Luckovich used the names of the fallen in Iraq to create this anti-war image touted by moonbats:

James Lileks, among many others, wrote a fabulous rejoinder to Luckovich. But Georgia teenager Danielle Ansley has topped it. Her cartoon response to Luckovich appears in today's Atlanta Journal Constitution:

Danielle also wrote a letter to the editor that
accompanies the cartoon:

The first time I saw Mike Luckovich’s drawing of the word “WHY?”, made up of the names of 2,000 troops killed in Iraq, was when my mother was putting it up on our refrigerator. It bothered me that no one did a response showing how others feel. On Nov. 8, I got an updated list of the names of the war dead and started writing them, spelling out “FREEDOM.” Six days later, it was done. I only worked on it in my free time at school. It took me about 12 hours to get it done, so needless to say I devoted many of my classes to this, and stayed late after school to work on it. I didn’t take it home and show it to my mother until I had prints made. She and I have different views of things. She said that, as a mother, she didn’t like it that so many people have been killed. She was not happy when I placed my work next to Luckovich’s “WHY?” on the fridge, but it hasn't been taken down. I may seem as if I am too young to have an opinion on matters like these. I am not saying that my opinion is right, for an opinion is just that — someone’s views on something. But, like a child’s voice, an opinion is often not heard

Well that was slimey! Nothing like a tiny peek at DU to remind me why I don't usually even lurk there. And how typical that they can't define "freedom." There's even one post that said women had many freedoms under Saddam! eeuusshh

Since growing up during VietNam protests, I used to think I was the only conservative who was anti-war on the planet (I later met others). However, now I firmly believe that there IS something worse than war, and that's having nothing you will fight for. It's clear from just a few posts over at DU that there is just a void in their hearts where things they hold dear should be.

Anyway, Danielle rocks!

So the AJC printed this? Good for them. Not every MSM paper is totally clueless. A few of them might actually learn to compete in the marketplace again. But only a few.

Only a Leftist idiot would be proud to display their profound ignorance on WHY we fight terrorists.

Congrats to this youngster for so eloquently answering the latest asinine question from the anti-American Left.

It's utterly amazing how superior they act. Two of them even decided to use a little 'devil' emoticon. Um...why? What purpose does it serve?

From the way they talk, they have no idea how close we were to winning the Vietnam War. Heck, for all intents and purposes, we had won it through our air campaign. But the politicians snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.

Also, they cite the Downing Street Memos as proof. Which, after they've been disproved REPEATEDLY, discredits them so much they have negative credit.

I suppose it's to be expected; for every action, there must be an equal and opposite reaction. Free Republic cannot exist without a Democratic Underground lurking in the shadows.

'Look if you dare' ping. And bring a barf bag.

This young woman's mother should do a little self examination and realize that those we lost in WWII are the reason she can post Luckovich's tripe on her 'fridge. Our lost in Afganistan and Iraq will allow her grandchildren to post whatever they like on their fridge. That's why.

Bingo! I will never understand the Hate-America-First mentality. Every generation in the Davis family (beginning in the Civil War) has willingly served in our United States military. The only branch of government worth funding by taxpayers.

Happy New Year NAVY! (My Dad was a Commander in WWI in the South Pacific.)

The word Freedom would have 2500 names if it used all the names of the men who died on D-Day. God Bless every one.

Happy New Year to Our Victorious Troops

It drives me right up the wall when people bring up this argument! As wars go this one has been pretty much bloodless...at least as far as the good guys go. As for the terrorists.....worms got too eat to.

"To a moonbat liberal NOTHING is worth dying for so they will NEVER understand the answer."

Worse than that; the moonbat liberals cower behind that higher class of person that recognizes that there are things worth fighting for. When the danger is past, they attack and demean those who protect their worthless selves.
