The horrible Waco murders occurred because Hillary was tired of watching the drama drag out on TV and told Reno to 'take care of it'. (Oddly, she's never taken credit where credit was due. The WH travel agency firings....Billy Dale, et al., Foster's 'suicide', the FBI files. The list is endless.) Well, that's Hill for you. Ms. Modesty, herself.

Oh, I would put Ruby Ridge right up there with Waco. A dog, a Mother holding a child...
Lon Horiuchi, the assassin gets a promotion.

Blam: Good question, I don't know...but I think you're getting at the heart of the issue.

The FBI had a huge party when they had they got the unabomber. The bad news is that if they had put out the bit about the unabombers "carving abilities", they might have found him a lot sooner. While there are a lot of "wood carvers", two dots might have nailed this guy.

The basic point is that Defense & Foreign Affairs has a proven track record of horrid BS news articles. They actually believed in all those claimed NATO losses in both manpower and manned aircraft. If they cannot even get the basic facts correct then all their 'un-named NATO sources' hyperbole can be taken with a pinch of salt.

A strike was conducted on Milo's home during April 1999.

I always heard it was because the Chicoms had developed a way to track the Stealth and were doing so from the the Embassy..

Wes Clarke was relieved of command 'cause that perfume 4 star good ole wesley was attempting to start WW3. A Brit commander was the one who stopped him. Immediately, wesley was recalled by the chairman of the joint chief
...LOL...

A strike was conducted on Milo's home during April 1999.

True, but (the last I remember) according to NATO their intention was not to take him out. Allegedly, the house had a bunker and contained communications equipment which made it a 'legitimate military target'- whether he was in the house or not.

1. Tenant isn't that smart.

2. Clinton bombing the Chi-coms after he gave them half our secrets? I do not buy it!

3. The easiest answer is usually the correct one - somebody screwed up.

You forgot the son. And I would put Ruby Ridge up with Waco. They both show the Government's arrogance and stupidity. By the way nobody got fired for either of those.

I hope Horiuchi rots in the bowls of hell and he better never pass in front of me when I am armed. Also don't forget that scum drove one of the tanks at Waco.

I had heard rumors to that end.
I don't think it was an accident though.

You haven't heard of the chi-coms harassing our spy flights since though.

The PRC still intercepts EP-3s and all the other recce aircraft. They don't hotdog now and intercept in a professional manner.

Clinton was so distracted with women and drugs (and totally uninterested in foreign policy) that he probably OKed the strike without fully understanding what he was doing.

His MO was to do stupid things and then lie about them later.

This episode seems to fit that template.

The reason bombing embassies is a bad idea is if you do it to them you are giving cart blanche for them to do it to you. The State Department types take a dim view of such a policy. :-)

Doing it then claiming it was an accident could cause an epidemic of "accidents" to our embassies.

What about the spy plane collision in 2001?

BTW, can you imagine how that might have played out if Al Gore had won...and Wesley Clarke was Secretary of Defense? We might be communicating via smoke signals now...

I already called that one years ago.

Now how about you post a legitimate link to that source?
