I even built a special wagon to take to the airshow. It was a little over 4' long folded up and was almost 9' long unfolded!!!. I fabricated some awning brackets out of some electrical conduit and we would spread a red and white checked table cloth over the conduit for shade. On top of the wagon would be a couple of coolers and a 5 gal water cooler and a couple of lawn chairs would be underneatth the wagon. The first year we took the "wagon" to the airshow we rolled right up to the rope and started setting up the gear. The look on the two MPs who were watching us was priceless. I am sure we looked like a band of gypsies. Once we got the awning set up they started laughing. They had figured out that we had brought our own shade!!! It was great way to spend the day with the kids. Regards alfa6 ;>}
