He's threatening to join Hugo Chavez if we don't let his illegal aliens in. All I can say is: Feel free.

"They treat us as if we were a sub-hemisphere of criminals," Stein told reporters.

Well, the shoe does fit. Show me five Latin American nations that aren't corrupt to the core.

When the unemployment rate for blacks drops well under 10% (it was 10.6% in Nov 2005, nearly double or triple other groups), then we can give "guest workers" even a seconds consideration. Until then: no green card, no work. Not legal and dropping an anchor baby? Off you go, back to your homeland.

We needed this wall 20 years ago.

I think the wall was an incredibly stupid idea, because it's simply bad press and is not going to be effective. It would have been much more effective to challenge the corrupt and dysfunctional government of Mexico to actually do something about their illegal immigration problems - that is, Mexico shoots illegal immigrants when they try to crosss its borders, but Mexican criminals and politicians make their living by sending droves of illegal immigrants across our border. And these immigrants are not even Mexicans: they're Arabs and Chinese, who have come up with the money to pay off Mexican officials. But that's okay, because the entire upper class and the political class of SOcialist Mexico is making money off of this.

Someday we'll have a US government with enough balls to tell Mexico to straighten up and fly right, but it probably won't be in my lifetime. In the meantime, the wall is a stupid gesture that only makes us look like idiots and provides propaganda for all our enemies.

Yep...all these tin-pot Marxists depend on those US dollars being wired home to buy the beans for the rest of their turd-world country. We ought to put a 40% tax on all money transfers out of the USA as a repayment for the expense of educating, medicating, and incarcerating all the Latins that sneak into the country with the encouragement of their governments.

... "We take it as a total insult to all Latin America ...

Good! Perhaps you'll now take the hint and keep your freeloaders home.

Big Bad Uncle Sam. Hey, it works for Canada and everyone else in the Hemisphere. We end up apologizing for enforcing our border. We even paid Mexicans to help police their side of the border...to the tune of $50 million last year. A waste of taxpayer money, as it went to line corrupt politicians' pockets and paid Mexican army thugs to cross the border into the US, while protecting drug smugglers and shooting at US border agents. 'One Happy Hemisphere' isn't working out. Somebody tell the CFR. Who knew.

Now we are going to find out what kind of problem we really do have when we try to stop it...
