Following the Dec. 7 season finale of South Park, titled "Bloody Mary," the Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights slammed the network for its irreverent portrayal of church icons and sought to block the episode from being rebroadcast.
It appears the group may have met with success. A repeat of the finale was scheduled to air Wednesday night, but was seemingly pulled from the Comedy Central lineup without explanation.
In the episode, a statue of the Virgin Mary is believed to be bleeding from its rear end, inspiring faithful parishioners to flock from miles around to be healed by the miraculous blood.

You mean you can change the channels on a television? Thank goodness. I've been watching te Oxygen network for 6 years!
On the upside, I've grown breasts, which give me something to play with while watching TV.

"You guys should invest in one of those TV's with a channel selector so you are not forced to watch the Comedy Channel when you don't like what they offer. That way, you might not be tempted to try to limit what other adults watch."
Excellent advice. The first thing I do when I get a new TV set is to program it to skip certain channels...so, on my TV, there is no CBSNBCABCCNNMSNBCMTV or the shopping and Spanish channels. Makes channel surfing a whole lot more friendly and faster.
Do you know that I went through the entire 1990s not watching a single speech, or clip of a speech of the 'Toon on TV? A miracle? No. A REMOTE.

So why do you post on them then, Eejit?

That's typical libertine dishonesty. I already covered your false argument in
comment #20. There's nothing conservative about promoting anti-family filth and hysteria against religions on television. It's a Democrat desire to destroy conservative social responsibility instead of conserving it, and that's common knowledge.
The old sexually confused Democrat habit of shouting for "free speech" in argument against moral responsibilities, the rights of publishers and freedom of association for groups is getting really tiresome, boring and obviously stupid. Try studying logic.

Actually, I don't have cable television -- though watch it when traveling. And I've never seen the Oyxgen network.
CNN used to be good. Then they stopped reporting the news.

Defamations against Judaism developed repeatedly into massacres and mass expulsions over the past 1700 years or so I thought there were sound theological reasons for the massacres and mass expulsions of Jews - somethimg about their very existance offending Christians.

a statue of the Virgin Mary is believed to be bleeding from its rear end, So, thanks to censorship, I don't get too see it for myself but I get to read all about it in the news and on FR and that's better?

I see there are some Catholic haters on this thread.....Do you hate Jews too? Why not just round them up and put them all in a camp somewhere huh quick?
Are you a Christian Quick....well guess what so are Catholics....they believe in the same God the same Jesus Christ as all Christians do....why are some people so eager to show their ignorance in public?
To: balch3
Gee, thanks so much for enlightening me. To think that all these years of voting Republican, having faith in Jesus Christ, and my personal and professional successes are all moot because South Park makes me laugh.
I guess it's time to throw in the towel, vote democrat, become a Buddhist and start begging outside Safeway lest balch3 and his ilk think I'm a hypocrite. Goodbye FR *sniff* it was fun while it lasted.

So sorry Meowmeow, you just don't pass the purity test. Just can't let people like you (or me for that matter) into the party.
Maybe if you submit to reeducation, there might be a place for you carrying one of the banners in the partisan day parade, but thats about it. You're damaged goods as far as they are concerned.
Now shut up and stop drawing attention or you'll be made an example of.

Worth highlighting: "It may not be a miracle, but it's close enough for Nashville," singer-songwriter Sand Sheff said at the time.
Watch for Sand Sheff's new country hit, "It May Not Be A Miracle."

Mohammed is a whole different thing. Everything associated with him is holy and sacred. He founded the freakin' religion of peace. Even to make an image of him (which South Park has done) is sacrilege.
