FWIW- I looked up a public figure, whom I happen to personally know, his biography on Wiki is full of errors- and he is by chance a Conservative. I sent my friend a link so he could contact WIki folks and tell them to change the entry. I will keep you updated.

Have you seen the documentary Supersize Me, where the guy spends a month gorging himself on McDonald's? The sad thing about that movie is that, rather than shock people, it probably encouraged the country's fatties to go out and eat MORE. On second thoughts, I doubt they actually went out - the lazy lardasses would probably have got their Big Macs delivered to them.

I'm not sure what part of the Land of the Free you come from but McD's have been doing home delivery for years. Obviously, you have to make a big purchase but this should be no problem for our supersized cousins.

Kinsey has been proven a perverted fraud who employed junk science...

The homosexuality page refers to homosexuality in animals as if this somehow this legitimates the illegitimate, unhealthy, and procreatively impotent CHOICE of homosexual activity (note: animals also eat their young and kill indiscriminately LOL) -- Additionally [they] cite the previously mentioned junk science quack pervert Kinsey AS IF this somehow further bolsters the case...

I did check out some of the articles, and did notice some leftist bias. People are going to disagree about facts, but there's a degree of petty and avoidable bias in the language and tone that really doesn't have any excuse.

They key is competition. Once wikipedia gets some real competition things will change if enough people complain enough. The problem is that other web operations rely on wiki in stead of starting up their own on-line reference works.

I wouldn't want the encyclopedia business polarized between liberal and conservative works, but once competition starts, wikipedia will professionalize a bit, if they don't go under completely.
