Wikipedia is a liberal "encyclopedia" that anyone can edit. Unfortunately, it is very popular and very "progressive", although its stated goal is to present factual information wit a neitral point of view. A perfect example in the Kwanzaa "article" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kwanzaa), as is the "article" on abortion (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abortion), and the article on President Bush (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_W._Bush).
Any attempt to add balance to these articles is met by severe censoring and shouting down or shutting down editors. I suggest people sign up (free and anonymous) (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Userlogin) and start politely editing. Once there, to gain "credibility" I suggest you look around and then for the first few days edit only uncontroversial articles for grammar or choppiness or poor citation - you will then be seen as a neutral editor (everyone is an "editor"). I suggest using a different screen name than you do at FR.
Perhaps you fancy yourself some sort of upper crust UK wordsmtih, or a classic wiz in a debate... I would call that last post, ummm.. frustrated old man chic.
(I am laughing at you- not with you.)
:]
Laugh all you like - or should I say 'cackle'.
Oh,so now you make attempts at disparaging chickens.... oh where will the abuse and the *hilarious* come backs end?
*Children do not try this at home*....These put downs are only for brilliantly witty UKmen who hang out on American political websites in their spare time.
My apologies if you are a chicken, or indeed any kind of poultry. I will not however apologise for my observations about your paltry {poultry) contribution to this thread.
I agree flipping burgers is more profitable - since the average American weighs about 400lbs.
Again with the bird imagery. Perhaps (assuming you are under 400lbs) you could fly over to Wiki and leave some pigeon droppings on their homepage.
Any idea how this crusade is going, by the way? How many hundreds of Wiki pages have been vandalised so far?
ROTFLMAO -are you a troll?
Read these entries and see what you think?

Goodness... you are a testy small man aren't you?? ;]
(That must be where you fear of normal size people comes from.)
Have you seen the documentary Supersize Me, where the guy spends a month gorging himself on McDonald's? The sad thing about that movie is that, rather than shock people, it probably encouraged the country's fatties to go out and eat MORE. On second thoughts, I doubt they actually went out - the lazy lardasses would probably have got their Big Macs delivered to them.
The first two seem fairly accurate. Perhaps, to quote Jack Nicholson, you can't handle the truth.
I'm not sure what part of the Land of the Free you come from but McD's have been doing home delivery for years. Obviously, you have to make a big purchase but this should be no problem for our supersized cousins.
You'll find three culprits -- Germans, Japanese and the US:

At least your accept your defeat unceremoniously. I will give you that.
ROTFLMAO!!!
Just a few points...
Kinsey has been proven a perverted fraud who employed junk science...
The homosexuality page refers to homosexuality in animals as if this somehow this legitimates the illegitimate, unhealthy, and procreatively impotent CHOICE of homosexual activity (note: animals also eat their young and kill indiscriminately LOL) -- Additionally [they] cite the previously mentioned junk science quack pervert Kinsey AS IF this somehow further bolsters the case...
Yeah -I can't handle the truth...
LOL Actually it is the delusional lefists that can't handle the truth so they make up their own!
Anybody that thinks wikipedia is the 'truth' needs intense deprogramming and devillagification...

They key is competition. Once wikipedia gets some real competition things will change if enough people complain enough. The problem is that other web operations rely on wiki in stead of starting up their own on-line reference works.
I wouldn't want the encyclopedia business polarized between liberal and conservative works, but once competition starts, wikipedia will professionalize a bit, if they don't go under completely.
