I am with you on that. I was on a post and this guy was begging us to boycott the new show Story of David and everyone was like...no, we are not boycotting something we don't watch. People are so rediculous something. This guy has nothing better to do that waste his time trying to find some stupid word that he can make sound bad. I don't now or ever use dictionary.com. So I will not be boycotting this.

This is what happens when you're alone on Christmas. Myself, I'm throwing out my Webster because of its explanation for "nutjob." I think I now have a good working example of the term.
I don't think they were being disrespectful. They were using it in a contextual way, many dictionaries do that and have for decades.............

Sorry, but I don't see a spitefull attack on Christinaity there.
Being alone on Christmas is extremely depressing and there are a lot of suicides during the Christmas holliday season due to this.
I don't thing the depression and inner turmoil that can be caused by being alone during Christmas or an holiday season is a example of the state of turmoil that would fall under the definition of inferno.
It's a poorly written definition. However, you're reaching really far to call this an attack on Christianity, and even farther to place the blame for this on dictionary.reference.com.
You also want to boycott the site because of the definition of one word in the dictionary?
You're working too hard at being offended.
The PU entry is the second entry. Dictionary.com cites multiple sources.
I use Dictionary.com at times in FR posts to explain that words mean things. Words used by trolls and words used by "journalists".
I find the third, fifth, and ninth letters in Berlin_Freeper's name to be a hate-filled and spiteful attack on Christianity. =)
