8. Gov. Mitt Romney (Mass.) Has said, I believe that abortion should be safe and legal in this country. Supports civil unions and stringent gun laws. After visiting Houston, he criticized the citys aesthetics, saying, This is what happens when you dont have zoning. Sorry, no, this doesn't earn him top ten.
Any List that doesn't have McCain on it should not be taken seriously. Even if some of these names are correctly on it. Ex. 100% on Shays.
I don't care if McCain calculates his votes to avoid a 100% Liberal ranking. Those votes are calculated, leaving McCain deliberate room to screw (or attempt to) the MOST important matters to conservatives/Republicans whether it be ANWR, JUDGES, TAXES, Protecting terrorists...
That he votes on the lseer issues to score a 60-70% ranking just so he can "claim" to be a Republican or conservative doesn't matter a damn if he throws the main core issues that people elect Republicans to accomplish into chaos. That's his intent, the rest is all a cover.
BTW, the only "Republican" to be courted to be the VP on the Dem Presidential ticket. If that doesn't earn him RINO, then Chafee being courted by Liberals doesn't count either.

"How is advocating PAY AS YOU GO Taxcuts AND turning around an advocating SPENDING INCREASES even remotely thought of as being "an old timey way to be conservative"? Reagan's plan was cut taxes AND spending, not Cut Taxes as long as we can figure a way to "pay for the taxcuts" AND increase spending."
You're right, that's not conservative. And that's why neither our current budget nor Ronald Reagan's, May he rest in peace, are conservative.
Actually paying for tax cuts with equal spending cuts would be conservative.
The current President Bush has a war to contend with, of course, but if you look at the current budget it increases health and human services far more than defense.

The President doesn't create the budget, Congress does.
In 7 of 8 years of the Reagan Presidency, Reagan proposed a much smaller budget than what the heavily democrat congress returned to him.
What we need is: Line item veto.

A question for those who live under RINO rule. When your RINO runs for re-election, does his or her RAT opponent try to paint said RINO as a right-wing wacko extremist Christian fundamentalist Bush-bot who wants to pollute the air, poison the water, starve schoolchildren and freeze old folk?
No, they do not even bother to muster a decent candidate against Snowe or Collins.

Is there anything more "RINO" than for a "Republican" senator to minimize the successful efforts of our servicemen in Iraq?
Is there anything more "RINO" than to undermine the President's foreign policy and the war on terrorism, and encourage our nation's enemies, so as to position one's self for a potential run at the White House?
I'll bet I don't even have to name the person being referred to in the two questions above...most of you already know.

Oh no, that makes you a RINO...uh, because, that's why. ;)
I guess they needed an even 10 that everyone would recognize?

6. Gov. George Pataki (N.Y.) Don't forget the disgusting Mrs. Pataki, the abortion-loving vampire who has raised over $2 million for Planned Parenthood.

They should make a list of those pushing the radical gay agenda...

I will, now that you have provided me the link. Thanks!
I am disappointed, but not terribly surprised, to find Norm Coleman's name on this list. I am growing increasingly disenchanted with him, especially on ANWR. I think the ex-Democrat in him is showing more than I'd like to see it.

Should specify ... Coleman is on the Main Street Partnership, not the RINO list. He doesn't qualify there .. yet.
