Extreme Overclockers Stats for Free Republic ^

We expect to pass 200,000 total points on New Years Eve!

We have a chance to pop into the Top 1000 Teams by Saturday if we can have a few more systems added to the pack.

Just joined. Looks like my first box picked a tough one--3750 frames, ECD March 13th (!!). My laptop got an ECD of 10 days. Will be a while before I show up on your stats.

I've added my little cog to the FReeper machine. I've been having far too much trouble with SETI@Home now that it has shifted to BIONIC.

We were passed by one team, SISD. My guess is that this team really is the computers of an Independent School District that were all "volunteered" to fold over the holidays.
I just saw the above comment--interesting and possible. However, my school district wouldn't tolerate it. It's big on energy conservation over the holidays. Those computers would be turned off in about a day's time.

What can I do to help?

I tried to setup the SETI screen saver a few years back and it messed up my computer.

You've got my attention! So, tell me what I can do, and how to do it. I've got the following spare untis sitting in the garage...

1-dual cpu amd 2800/512
1-dual cpu intel 733/256
1-sgl cpu intel 700 PIII/256
1 sgl cpu intel 900 celeron/256
1-sgl cpu amd 400/64 K6 laptop

I don't know if I have enough router capacity, but I do have an old 24 port hub, will that be ok?

I don't have enough monitors and keyboards to go around (even if I did, it would blow my panel LOL), can I install the client and remove the monitor and keyboard to the next box and so on?

Papasmurf

I went ahead and signed up. I leave my computer on all the time so I figured it can be doing something useful when I'm not using it.

I downloaded the software and got driver mismatch error message with exit as the only option.

What should I do? I don't see that error in the FAQ.

When I see Folding@Home, I can't help but think of laundry day, but I'll bump the thread anyway.
