Hi. I am alone on Christmas Eve and I got into a debate with some leftists about the war. What a way to spend Christmas Eve. :-(
And I am still debating them. They say "Name One Terrorist Caught by Bush" since the war began? I thought that was an easy to answer question. But where are the Google replies for that? There are none. Is there a FAQ somewhere?
This sounds like a really stupid question, but I am drawing a blank right now.
Also, is there a list of known or probable specific terror attacks prevented by the GWOT?
I am thinking that someone we caught was going to blow up the Golden Gate Bridge. But who? I need a list.
I am sorry, but I just cannot look this up on Google. I tried, but Google is no help.
I would presume such info is classified.
They might be keeping score, but the tally is top secret and won't be made public except by the NYT because it would provide an advantage to the enemy.
There have been several nailed in Pakistan and of course, Saddam and his minions. Look on the FBI most wanted list and also, wasn't there a deck of cards with most wanted.... of course, Saddam's evil sons. Of course, your evil lib friends won't admit that Saddam and company are terrorists.
And I'm sorry you're alone. Have a blessed Christmas.
Good luck arguing with liberals, when you make your point they just swear and call you names.
When you argue with hatred, you're dealing directly with Satan.
Tell them Christ died for their sins and they'll explode in anger.
There is defineily some declassified information on this released earlier this fall- it was USA Today front page news around september or october. I remember the Lackawanna, oregon, and california terror cells broken up with help of the Patriot Act. Some international busts also, especially the Sydney Opera House thing.
You might be able to find info about the a prevented Brooklyn bridge terror attack.
Also, try looking for a planned Sept. 11 attack on the library tower in Los Angeles that was prevented by the nation's strong reaction to the World Trade Center attacks.
Good Luck!

take a look at this article, and Merry Christmas!
Now, if you're really serious about this, and I have my doubts, type "Al Qaeda scorecard" into your browser.
The number of terrorists the U.S. and its allies have killed and captured in this war on terror is mind boggling.
Oh, and one attack that we've prevented? The Brooklyn Bridge bombing plot - stopped by monitoring phone calls between Al Qaeda and a terrorist on U.S. soil. And maybe if SV is in the Christmas spirit, he'll show you his terrorist scorecard.
0oogle is a left-wing left-coast operation and no friend of non-progressives.
Some info (mostly Brit) here. Good luck.

"But it appears to be deemed problematical only for President Bush, whose wiretaps are said to have caught Iyman Faris, a naturalized U.S. citizen who wanted to bomb the Brooklyn Bridge. "
From a great article also mentioning Carter's and Clinton's wire taps and quotes Clinton's AG.
Wiretaps for me, not thee?

PS.
If I may, I would suggest you don't waste your Christmas Eve
arguing with leftists. Put on some nice Christmas music, or watch some Christmas show on TV, count your blessings, say a prayer. You can be alone, but you don't have to be lonely.
And have a very Merry Christmas!
A small handful have been mentioned over the years.
Iyman Faris

Bookmarked for reference......thanks!
I kmow it was before the 1978 law, but didn't Fat Teddy's brother, the departed AG, wire-tap MLK Jr. and J.Edgar Hoover?
besides the ones who didn't already blow themselves up I'd say our guys over in Iraq have rounded up an awful lot of them
