This is a Church in downtown Tehran built in mid 1960s during the reign of our beloved Shah

Excellent photos -- please keep them coming -- and keep us up to speed on what's going on in your nation. For me, I've always been fascinated by Iran...more so after becoming friends with an expat who "defected" when the Shah was overthrown.

Your "personal" profile page is what reminded me of Haji -- he was at that parade celebrating 2500 years in Iran. I've always wondered what it looked like, but never had the chance to see a photo.

He defected while serving in the Navy - he was in Chicago at Great Lakes Naval Station at the time. He's now unable to go home ("wanted man"), so he has to fly to Turkey to meet his mom who's still in Iran.
