A NIECE of Al-Qaeda mastermind Osama bin Laden has posed in nothing but high heels and ostrich feathers for photographs published in a US men's magazine.
The daughter of bin Laden's half-brother, Yeslam, Wafah Dufour shows off her long legs as she reclines on a bed in a profile in in the latest edition of GQ magazine entitled, "It Isn't Easy Being the Sexy Bin Laden." The US-born aspiring singer told the magazine that she has adopted her mother's maiden name to disassociate herself from her uncle, who orchestrated the attacks on New York and Washington on September 11, 2001.
"Everyone relates me to that man, and I have nothing to do with him," she said.
Wafah, who also posed in a bubble bath, says she has not been in Saudi Arabia since she was 10 years old and is anxious to tell the world that she sees herself as an American.
"It's really tough that I have to always explain myself," said Wafah, who the magazine described as speaking with a French accent.
"It's like every time I meet someone, I have to move a huge mountain that's in front of me, and sometimes I get tired."
The magazine says Wafah is vague about her age but reports that she looks to be in her twenties, with an "alluring" face that bears some vague resemblance to bin Laden himself.
She said she has no contact with most of her relatives, including her father, that she doesn't speak Arabic and is optimistic her US compatriots will not judge her harshly.
"At the end of the day, I believe the American people understand things and they have compassion and they see what's fair," she said. "They're very fair, and that's why I love America, and that's why my mom loves America."
Wafah's father and Osama bin Laden are among dozens of children fathered by Mohammed bin Laden, a Yemeni immigrant to Saudi Arabia who became a construction magnate.
Wafah said she was in Geneva when she learned of the September 11 attacks.
"I was freaking out, crying hysterically, watching this in horror. I was like, 'Somebody's bombing my city, and I wanna go home!"'
In an interview earlier this year with the New York Post, Wafah spoke about her ambitions for pop stardom and expressed relief that her mother raised her outside of Saudi Arabia.
"Thank God my blessed mother took her daughters away to Switzerland or I would have been forced into life under the veil," she told the paper.
Fatwa time?!?! And not as in "Does this make my butt look fatwa?"
Ohhhh... Wait... Never mind!
I wonder if she put her life in danger just by doing that photo spread?
This could be a new way of declaring war on terrorism. Provide more Moslem women with an opportunity to pose in men's mags.
HAHAHAH! Wonder how Osama is liking that?
I bet Osama is deeply saddened...
Pictures should be sent to the Saudi Embassy to verify her identity. LOL
Bump! :)
I thought you were linking to lots of pictures of hawt arabian momen, not FR stories about said pictures........
Old, Old, Old, old new's, Fox had a story about her nearly six months ago.
No, that's when she was trying to be a singer. Please try to keep up with her career moves...
I think I'd hit it....
Maybe with a blunt object....
Apparently she's got a new publicist.
Stepping up for my country and offering her a "safe house." (Safe from Osama, anyway!)

Dork!
I don't think there is such a thing as "hawt" (hot?) Arabian women. They all look like guys in drag! And they're way too hairy - all over! Yuck!
