I fear enough dems will move to Red state to foul the purity.

I think that Limbaugh said yesterday that by the year 2020, Florida will have more electoral votes than New York. I didn't know that the exodus was that drastic.

it's all about the taxes. Yet, these figures are flawed for NY, IMO. The undocumented Dominicans in the NYC area alone would put NY in positive territory.

I live in Massachusetts and have been hunting Liberals and filling up the landfills with them. That must be what has skewed the census.

I'll have to be more careful.

"Nevada, with an estimated population increase of 3-point-5 percent, was the fastest growing state for the 19th consecutive year, followed by Arizona, Idaho, Florida and Utah."

Which of these is not like the other? Florida is a geographic disconnect but probably powered by the demographic bump of retiring boomers. Utah grows probably because of the Mormon birth rate. Nevada and Arizona by retirement to the dry heat. Idaho? Idaho????? The one that doesn't fit is really Idaho.

....Experts attribute the trend to soaring housing costs, a stagnant job market and the arrival of fewer immigrants.........

The "experts" should check with the towns Tax Assessor's offices.

Here in Barrington RI, in 1997 we built our Lindal Cedar dream house, but the only person that loved the house more than we did was the lady tax assessor:

"Oh that's lovely; Your three gas fireplaces are dramatic; what a beautiful tile treatment in your two bathrooms; the exposed beams and cathedral ceilings are exquisite; oh, and the pristine water view."

"Thank you for allowing me in your new house, here's your property tax bill for $12,500; have a nice day!"

As usual..the EXPERTS missed the most significant cause...HIGH TAXES !!!

I can scarcely wait for the bloodletting which will occur once Massachusetts loses 2 Congress seats after the next census.

The morons around here won't be calling for repeal of the Electoral College anymore once that happens.

Let's demonstrate the effectivness of the border fence idea by fencing these blue states in before they get out and multiply.

This why the Great Lakes states are so eager to have a water compact in place before the next census. We don't want the people who are buggering off to Texas, Nevada and Arizona trying take the water with them. Sorry, folks, no pipeline. This native Michigander says: if you can't stand the winters, you can't drink the water.
