Do you believe President Bush's actions justify impeachment?

Thanks for the reply, I've been telling my friends for weeks that Bush isn't the first to spy without a warrant. Don't get me wrong, I don't condone the action but I don't think Bush is setting a precedence... This stuff has been going on for a long time and the fact that the media has suddenly decided it important enough to report speaks volumes of the bias they claim they don't have.
I am old enough to remember Nixon's demise. He was a president that had just been elected by one of the most overwhelming landslides in history and it only took the mainstream media 1.5 years to get the impeachment movement going and to have a lot of people who voted for him asking for his head.
This is how it starts, online polls, late night talk show jokes, talking heads using it as a throw away line, i.e, "I would never call muy opponent a wife beater and no one in my office has every called my opponent a wife beater, I wouldn't stand for anyone calling my opponent a wifebeater", pretty soon his opponent is thought of as a possible wife beater. Get the picture? Look at how quickly his favorables and the opinion on the war changed. Do I think it will happen? Of course not, but I am sure there were more than a few Clintonistas that were shocked by his impeachment. All it would take would be a slight change in the makeup of the House in 06 and all bets are off. You have enough Rhinos in both houses to make it scary. The Pubs will never vote in lockstep like the Dems did with Clinton. Never underestimate your opponents.

Yes, between the lying, the deceptions attempting to loose the war and more, there is plenty to justify putting them all out of business.

No, they continue to make a few missteps, but nothing approaching a call for bankruptcy.

No, the media has done absolutely nothing wrong. A call for bankruptcy would just be a political lynching the Far Right Evangelicals.

This pole needs some serious freeping.
Looks unfreepable at this point. MSNBC's viewer must have found a way to vote multiple times.

Sides 'freep' newspaper's poll question on spying
The stupid is thick in that poll.
We're getting TROUNCED! POLLS ARE STUPID!
Then you'll appreciate this one too. In addition to this former Clinton administration official, several prominent judges, including Judge Ponser, have said that all presidents retain the ability to run the same kind of program out of NSA that President Bush is running.
Former Clinton Official Contradicts Leahy on Spying

(CNSNews.com) -- Claims by a top Senate Democrat that the Clinton administration's warrantless surveillance of suspected spies and terrorists was different from what the Bush administration has employed are being contradicted by a former Justice Department official who served under President Bill Clinton.
John Schmidt, who served as associate attorney general between 1994 and 1997, argues that both Congress and the Supreme Court have recognized presidents' "inherent authority" to bypass warrants in ordering the eavesdropping of U.S. citizens suspected of conspiring with foreign governments or terrorists to injure or kill Americans.
On Wednesday, Sen. Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.), the ranking Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee, chided reporters for suggesting that Clinton ordered the same kinds of surveillance of U.S. citizens as Bush. Leahy claimed in a press conference that Clinton acted under an "entirely different power.
"If you go back to Clinton and (President Jimmy) Carter, those are searches under a FISA (Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act) provision into embassies, foreign embassies, things of that nature," Leahy argued. "It's an entirely different situation."
My local bank has this network on it's television above the counter as you wait in line. I think that counts for about a third of their total audience.
You might also want to send your friends this letter from the Assistant Attorney General to the Senate Intelligence Committee Chairmen.
It was filled with information regarding which cases DOJ thinks supports the president's position.

A blessed Christmas to you and your family too, Rodguy.
Glad to hear that Levin has been on top of this matter; the left lies so often I'm beginning to think it's a requirement in order to belong to the party.
