New studies show Fourth Salt Man is 2000 years old
TEHRAN, Dec. 23 (MNA) -- The most recent studies on the Fourth Salt Man indicate that the body is 2000 years old, the director of the Chehrabad Studies Center announced on Friday.
Recent radiography and CAT scans of the body indicate that the Fourth Salt Man was 15 or 16 years old at the time of death, Abolfazl Ali added.
Discovered in the Hamzehlu Salt Mine in early March 2005, the Fourth Salt Man is the most intact of the salt men discovered in the mine, which is located near Chehrabad village about 75 kilometers from the northwestern provincial capital city of Zanjan.
He said that radiologist Jalal Shokuhi is currently recreating some parts of the salt mans face and that the results would be reported to the Zanjan Cultural Heritage and Tourism Department.
The body had to be transferred to Tehran since there is no CAT scan or MRI equipment in Zanjan, he added.
The upper part of the outer clothing of the Fourth Salt Man stretched to his knees, and his pants are short and did not completely cover his legs. He also wore a pair of leather shoes. In his belt, he had a sheathed dagger, probably made of iron.
In addition, he wore two earrings, which experts are currently studying.
Two jugs were discovered near the body, presumably used as containers for oil for lamps used to illuminate the mine.
The First Salt Man was discovered 10 years ago in the Hamzehlu Salt Mine.
The second and third salt men were found in the mine in November 2004 and January 2005.
Don't recall reading anything about the other three Salt Men.
All 'Salt Men' are accounted for.
A fourth man?

This sounds like a description of a lot of kids I see on the street. Only thing missing is a baseball cap and a cell phone.
Two jugs were discovered near the bodyNaturally. Being buried in salt is thirsty work.
Ah, here it is:

Gods, Graves, Glyphs (alpha order)
It's from The Third Man - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0041959/
Seems appropriate, since we are discussing the fourth man.
