"Letter from Heaven
To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say. But first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay. I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above. Here, there's no more tears of sadness; Here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight. Remember that I am with you every morning, noon and night. That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through. God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you.
It's good to have you back again, you were missed while you were gone. As for your dearest family, They'll be here later on. I need you here badly, you're part of my plan. There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do. And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you. And when you lie in bed at night the day's chores put to flight. God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years. Because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears. But do not be afraid to cry: it does relieve the pain. Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned. If I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand. But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er. I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb; But together we can do it by taking one day at a time. It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too; That as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain; Then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain." And now I am contented....that my life was worthwhile. Knowing as I passed along the way I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low; Just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go. When you're walking down the street and you've got me on your mind; I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go....from that body to be free. Remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me."

Merry Christmas to everyone at FR's Finest!
Merry Christmas Luv.
Merry Christmas Meg
We are having a good day, just watched Scrooge and are watching A Christmas story again..
Hi Mayor... sounds great! I love those movies! God Bless and glad to see you today :)
I love A Christmas Story. One of my very favorites.
Truly, this Christmas Day my cup doth runneth over with more blessings than I can count!
First, my apology for being absent lately from The Finest is extended to everyone, necessitated by snail pace preparations for a visit by our son and family. As we all experience this time of the year, 24 hours a day are not enough to cover all that needs to be done, and I simply had to focus on the Absolute Priority List.
You know - the one that *grows* in direct proportion to all the things that go amiss..:))
Kevin and Susan did indeed arrive the morning of the 22nd, and the visit was meaningful in every conceivable way.
Many of you were kind enough to pray a year ago for their older son, Christopher, who was desperately ill for several months. I am thrilled to report he fully recovered, and openly attributes it TO all the prayers on his behalf! Added to that, he is 17 and has finally - like his father - hit a huge growth spurt, and towers over me.
Both boys are fully into sports (as well as their Christian school subjects) and achieved their black belts a year and a half ago, and thus qualified to teach others. Nickolas is now 13 and enjoys helping other children.
The father of an ADDH son who has great difficulty focusing and executing the basics asked Nickolas what he would charge to give him private instruction - Kevin told Nickolas it was up to him to negotiate what he thought was a fair price. He asked the father is he thought $10 an hour was all right, and his response was ASOLUTELY NOT !!
He said it was worth $25/hr.!
Nickolas diligently prints out on the computer his Lesson Plan for each session - a Review of the last one - and Overall Progress Report for Dad.
As for my oldest grandson, B.J., who is on our Military Prayer List, he went from Colorado to Korea, and is now stationed in Germany.
Without going into detail about Steve and his family and Jennifer and hers, God is actively working in all their lives, and yesterday, my older granddaughter, Aubrey (23), who graduated from college on the 12th, drove down to spend the day with us, one on one. What joy to see the lovely inside and out young woman she has become!
With uncooperative hands, I was unable to physically address and send Christmas cards to anyone this year, even via email or Freep mail.
Please know that I hold all of you in a most grateful heart for becoming true family members - His Family - with you.....
With blessings asked for all,
What a lovely story, Lady. This has indeed been a great Christmas for me as well. Flights resumed to New Orleans and I'm home for Christmas. God bless you all, and I hope you all have a very blessed New Year.
God bless you and your beautiful family. And we know without a doubt that you love us back! ((((hugs))) Glad everyone is doing so well.
