Supreme Court opens door for 'swingers' clubs (Canada)

Two Montreal "swingers" clubs did not breach Canadian standards of decency when they allowed group sex to take place on their premises, the Supreme Court of Canada ruled this morning.

In its latest attempt to set guidelines that govern sexual morality in Canada, the top court said two swingers clubs in Montreal were not operating as illegal “bawdy houses,” because what went on there did not cause any harm to society.

The decision could make it easier for other venues where group sex takes place among consenting adults - such as gay bath houses - to operate without the threat of police intervention

Looks like Canada has fallen into the pit of immorality.

The decline of the west continues.

I fear that society will hit bottom so hard that there will be no putting it back together again.

This is the country that believes two men and two women have the "right" to marry. What's decency got to do with it?

Ok, I can't get past this oxymoron. What is this article about?

Yes, they only served as the staging point for the AIDS epidemic here in America, causing massive headaches to the CDC as they tried to trace partners and find patient "zeros". But Canada's different, right? They're, you know, north and stuff.

Standards of Decency in Canada?

Bwahahahahahahahaha

The officer enforcing these would make the Maytag repair guy look like a hyperactive 6 yr old with fire ants in his trousers.

What I fear is that it will be put back together by muslims. They have no concept of a libertarian, socialist paradise that Canada aspires to be. They are offended by such a society and they are a 'protected status' group so they cannot be criticized by political machinations in Ottawa.

Sounds like the correct decision to me. Consenting adults and all, government has no business in the bedroom.

That foursome must be one heck of marriage. I'll put it on my list of things not to do.

You folks seem to have missed the whole crux of the decision.

The queers want their gay bath houses made legal ,If the heteros have a club where sex is permitted the queers can do the same.

yup..remember the first principle of swingers clubs...is this, these are people who are willing to trade unattractive spouses for other equally unattractive spouses--its like a swap meet, but ickier....
