The war on Christmas continues. Today my wife came home with the news that the director of the daycare stated that there wont be a Christmas party for the kids this year or ever again. No decorations, no singing songs and they wont even allow a "Holliday Tree" More of the same, don't want to offend those of other faiths. SINCE WHEN IS SANTA A RELIGIOUS FIGURE ANYWAY ???
My daughters have had 5 Years of Santa, gifts, songs and candy and now the daycare is caving in to a few that are complaining. The best part is, all of the children in my daughters particular location are some sort of Christian denomination that celebrate Christmas anyway. SO NOBODY IS BEING OFFENDED ! Yet the decision has been handed down and Christmas is no longer recognized across the board.
My Christmas wish this year is that you would all help make it known to KLC that they never messed with the spirit of the season !

It is also the right in a free country and a free market for parents to show their disapproval by taking their money elsewhere.

This is a no-brainer. Take your kids elsewhere and tell everyone else they would do the same if they had even a rumor of a backbone.
I'd suggest that is the sort of deceptive behavior that ought to send all of the parents to pull their kids out of there. After all, if the day care provider will tell a lie about Xmas, what else are they lieing about?

I don't have little ones in preschool, but if I did, I would certainly do the very thing you propose.

Maybe it's just time to visit the other daycare down the road.
It's really odd that some business's will ignore the desire of the 90% majority to appease the 10% minority... and think they're doing the right thing.
Then most of them do an about face when they start thinking about the dollars lost because of this stupid PC move. (i.e. Walmart, Target etc.)
