Finally the always offended Madison media has a legitimate complaint.

Did this paper endorse Kerry? How about Feingold? Maybe that Kohl too?

Madison is certainly not the front lines for O'Reilly's imaginary "war on Christmas." Imaginary my arse!

I don't get too riled up about anything O'Reilly says - he could care less about thie "war on Christmas" - just gives him a few more viewers to plug his trinkets incessantly. Can't stomach phonies no matter what ideology they claim to follow.
PS - Was at Target today and at least 2 of their employees said "Merry Christmas"

What is it they say about publicity? It's all good, just as long as they spell your name right.
It's no wonder O'reilly's ratings are high. These guys are helping him more than they imagine.

Merry Christmas!

This was the city where the kids couldn't ring bells for the Salvation Army because some parent got offended? I'll bet they wish each other "Merry Christmas!"
To: SJackson
As a matter of fact, it's much too cold up here in Madison for the hell-fired devil. The low temperature Monday morning at the airport was minus 5. You'd think journalists in a university town would have at least a passing acquaintance with Dante's Inferno.

These idiots don't know when O'Reilly is joshing or doing satire. Numb, dumb, and out of touch, so name calling is a good rebuttal.

Liberals have no sense of humor. My sister has a book where they quote sarcasm from Rush and Hannity like the gospel truth.
For instance, one quote has Hannity saying something about how liberalism should be taxed or outlawed or something. The book goes on almost a whole page on how this is illegal and immoral... LOL
They need to lighten up.

...he could care less about thie "war on Christmas" - just gives him a few more viewers to plug his trinkets incessantly. Those trinkets he plugs are 100% for charity. Obviously you have assumed he was benefiting personally from those sales. You sound like a liberal coming to conclusions based on what you heard and feel instead of on the truth.

What's this? If you don't like O'Reilly you're a liberal? Puhleeze, the guy is a panderer. I guess I should have been a little more clear in my first post and not used the word trinkets - should've said all of the products he endorses incessantly on his radio show (commerical breaks). You may like him, that's your perogative, I find him a pompus phoney who has decided to make his bucks of off the conservative-minded public (and of course, he's entitled to).

My! Isn't it the liberal rags that are protesting so much? Must be something to it, huh? That's what I was thinking....why would they (this paper/& other liberals) care so much about what O'Reilly says?
