First question by reporter, about pursuing investigation into the leak about 'eavesdropping' and his eyes are beady, hard, and focused.
GOOD.

He said "When it was leaked about OBL using a cellphone, OBL changed his methods of communication." "WE'RE AT WAR!"

President: After 9/11, I knew we were fighting a different kind of war. So I asked people in my admin. to analyze how best to do the job people expected us to do. WHich is to prevent another attack.
We looked at the possible scenarios and the people responsible for helping us protect the country came forth with the current program because it enables us to move faster and quicker. And that's important. We have to be quick to prevent an attack.
We use FISA's still. I then asked if it's legal to do so. I swore to uphold the laws. The answer came back - absolutely. The legal authority is derived from the Constitution and the authorization of force by the US Congress.

"First question: Are you going to order an investigation of the leak?"
Really? No....
Did I have the legal authority to do this? The answer was yes. Now shut up and sit down.

Is there a link? (I'm an office captive today)
To: kevkrom
Perhaps he's gotten the message that he must be more aggressive cutting through the media filter. Hopefully he's fired Nicole Devenish and Dan Bartlett.

I hate questions that start "Some lawmakers/people say..."
You can be sure it's a bogus question.

Someone should have gone to prison for that one.
Time to lock up the media, they have gone way beyond freedom of the press. Its now freedom of the enemy.
To: mtbopfuyn
No it won't. What I was referring to was that the demos will realize they will be left holding the bag of responsibility if we are attacked again. And now they will have to focus on that possibility if they keep up the filibustering.

The questions will show the press didn't hear a word he said. So far you're batting 1000...
