etc, etc ........
just turned on the TV, and there is this Tom Brokaw thing on talking about a guy who was killed in Iraq...is anyone watching this? Was this scheduled long in advance of the President's speech?
TYPICAL Of the left... I had it on also and turned it OFF.
Which is probably why Dubya didn't go to court to get a warrant. The courts are infested with judges just like Napolitano, if we had to count on them, there would be hundreds of thousands of Americans smoldering today.
The judiciary's role in issuing warrants - even post facto. I believe that is what the law requires. I have not seen where a judge has taken a look at what we are doing.
That is a wedge that they will pound.
Sorry...but I have a hard time with people on these threads using the names "Congressman" and "Senator" and never doing the hard, back-breaking work of getting elected themselves. I write 'em off.
Does you know if this was programming put in place AFTER the President announced his intention to speak?
Peach is a peach! :)
Something must fill the void when the onslaught of commercials require a break.
LOL!
Have you tried the Belk "At Home Socks". Heaven.
I am guessing NBC knew just what they were doing.... they know how to pull at the heart strings of moms all over the country.
TV Newser has details of tonight's MSM coverage:
FNC: Bill O'Reilly at 8; The Big Story Weekend at 9:30, with "immediate reaction...from our servicemen and women in Iraq." Brit Hume's religion special, which was previously scheduled for 9, will air at 10.
CNN: Wolf Blitzer is in The Situation Room at 8; Larry King at 9; and Blitzer is back at 10.
MSNBC: Brian Williams' "Day with the President" special at 7; Meet the Press at 8; speech coverage hosted by Keith Olbermann at 9; reaction with Tucker Carlson at 10. (The Meth special originally scheduled at 9 will air at 6.)
NBC: Brian Williams will anchor live coverage at 9.
ABC: Will broadcast the speech at 9. Anchor unknown.
CBS: Bob Schieffer will anchor.
Hey, thanks!
Last week Wallace actually did a fair and balanced interview so now he's got to make up for that moment of sanity and prove to his friends he's the same lefty as his father.
Which, pragmatically might be the correct tactic. But, he may have set himself up for a big fall.
Personally, I don't want some bubblehead newsreader telling me what President Bush is GOING TO SAY or REPEATING WHAT HE SAID AFTERWARDS.
Two leaks: the first by the NSA weenies ("Mommy, we're scared of big bad Bushitler!"), and second by the members of the House and Senate Intel Committees who were out blabbing the last few days (the NYT noted that other members refused to respond to this story, and rightly so).
I'm not fighting with you, I'm sorry if you think I am.
I was ENRAGED when I saw that...it is NOT that I shrink from the costs of war, it is that the liberal MSM slimeballs will use this for such naked partisan purposes.
:-)
Somebody thought I was a guy the other day. With a name like Peach, I thought it was self explanatory!
