Wouldn't be refreshing ... after his opening remark .. if he called Directors Goss and Mueller and Atty. Gen. Gonzalez to the podium, who announce the inception of the investigation into the recent classified intel leaks and that arrests of ________, ________, ________ have been made and that more are in progress?
THEN, he can resume the important details about Iraq. Am I dreaming?
"Napolitano goes off half cocked, and when he's cornered he shouts."
Yep, and he's starting to spit like chrissy too.
Didn't the President say in his speech yesterday that the wire taps were reviewed by Congress every 45 days?
Well the judge is from New Jersey. Compared to the Democrats there he is a jewel.
Yes I do believe he said that.
He's just plain wrong!!!
That was yesterday's Rat talking point. I heard several of them say it.
btt
I'd think his legal expertise deserving scrutiny, however, when someone asserts the same line the Democrats used about him nor being a King...and brings up Nixon near that same breath my radar shouts *DEM FAX*.
At this point I discount the man as a Liberal partisan hack trying to use his "legal" credentials the way Dems use their military medals to intimidate and assert superiority of position.
Are you kidding? I just knew it had been cold, but you've had all that already? GEEZ......that doesn't bode well for the rest of the winter, does it? (Check your CO detector, friend!)
Thanks you so much for VP Cheney's transcript. I love that man and he delivers a speech like no one else. I pray GWB will be serious but at ease with his delivery, giving the speech of his life tonight making some of the same important points.
Far from it if we're to believe some excerpts were posted on CNN:
"President Bush will say Sunday, according to excerpts of a prepared speech, that Iraq's elections signal the birth of democracy in the Middle East, arguing against a U.S. troop pullout while acknowledging the doubts of some "that the war is lost and not worth another dime or another day." The president's speech says that last week's voting for parliament will not bring an end to the violence in Iraq, where he has estimated that 30,000 civilians and more than 2,100 Americans have died. But Iraq's election, 6,000 miles away, "means that America has an ally of growing strength in the fight against terror."
Voters 3 Democrats 0
Take yer pick
Because Harry is repeating Graham's amnesia OR ... Harry's lying OR Graham .... lied.
I remember hearing an audio of a US Supreme Court case and one of the lawyers referred to the 9th. Circuit as the 9th. Circus.....everyone broke out laughing.
I hope you meant the Iraqi's have elected a government. But it still seems odd to ask for air time at 9 on a Sunday, but I am not a media expert. Also President Bush's speeches are never a bust here, except for the trolls who will no doubt begin to arrive shortly.
That would be good, in particular the NSA weenies who were "afraid" and went to the NYT.
Why didn't they go to NSA legal counsel with their concerns, rather than violate their secrecy oaths????
I'm doing a few here and there tonight, but we really DO need to get these babies out, don't we? (I hate doing it!)
No. He did not say that. DOJ reviewed it. IMO, there is a legit beef on this and if Bush does not knock a home run tonight, we are in for a Constitutional showdown.
Your radar is working fine. I'm no lawyer but I recognise BS when I hear it, and thanks to FR lawyer posters I am learning about applicable laws! A couple more years and I might be able to put out a shingle. LOL...just joking.
