I have the TV on c-span 2...to see if anyone gets up and talks in the Senate..

and they are replaying a Washington Journal show with Rep. James Clyburn...who said a few minutes ago that Rep. Murtha had spelled out concisely the plan that the Democrats are for, about what to do in Iraq...

but, then the commentator guy asks him, right after that, "But don't you think it would be a better message if Pelosi and Steny Hoyer were on the same page?" LOL

That Clyburn guy just looked at him like he had NO clue about what he just said.

The enemies of of our county, of our way of life, both here (in our government and the media) and overseas, need to understand that we not give in, we will not falter, we will achieve victory. There is no statutory requirement to inform Reid about anything related to surveillance. Zero. The fact that he heard about it "in the last few months" is irrelevant to anything.

Pelosi, on the other hand, has been on the House Intel Committee for the last 10 years (longest in history) and was thus in a position to be informed as a direct statutory requirement of 50 USC 1802. She would have heard about it in late-2001/early-2002.

Pelosi is revealing/acknowledging classified information she learned in her legal capacity as a member of the House Intel Committee. That's wrong, even if the NYT reported it.

She knew from the get go. From right after 9-11, and that is because she was on the Committee and she has also been House Minority Leader for some time. Lots longer than Reid has been Senate Minority Leader. Clearly Dick Gephardt knew about this from the get go and never said a word. Clearly, Daschle knew about this from the get go and never said a word.

She did the exact same thing, but now she calls for an investigation.

Reid is a liar, but he is a johnny come lately and is also not on any Intel Committee.

Some have said that there is no requirement to brief Senate and House top Leadership, but it is my understanding that as a courtesy and to keep them on board with the Administration they do get briefings that not every member gets.
