How did Hillie know of the Veep's plans? Isn't she on the Senate intelligence committee?

That's not a committee, it's an oxymoron.

Hillary's spies knew Cheyne was enroute to Baghdad, so she puts out her "order". How small of that witch! That's exactly what happened ... grandstanding comes almost as easily as lying for the Clintons.

It would be a more sure bet that she's hoping an IED gets him.

It would be a more sure bet that she's hoping an IED gets him. I agree.
To: Miss Marple
Yeah, we would, too.
My bet is someone w/VP staff contact who works at CIA or State, if there's any real difference between those two.

Let's consider the lineage to president from diasters in America. After the president, first in line is the vice-president, followed next by the speaker of the house.
Maybe the dumborats are more dangerous than we know. They've got Tom DeLay sitting on the sidelines, and Cheney going to Iraq. Mr President, please watch your back, slimy dimorats are in motion!

It's a pity anyone who supports her doesn't realize that she'd put the VP in such danger for her own political advancement and that it naturally follows she'd put the sheeple in any position she wants to screw them as well.

Huh. Took Hillary's advice. Hope that doesn't become a trend...... I would guess Hillary found out he was going in one of her committee briefings and then "suggested" it so she could look like she has a clue.

Her supporters are probably more than fine with her putting the VP in this kind of danger. Not only do they hate his guts, they have to get him out of the way before impeachment is a viable option.
To: Issaquahking
I agree with your conclusion. This is beginning to look like an organized bloodless coup. I'm certain Hastert is the third in the line of succession (Speaker of the House), as you said. And after that, I thought it was the Sec. of State. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe Hastert and Sec. Rice need to be taking extra precautions for their own safety.
Your point is a good one about bringing down DeLay being a part of the overall plan to attack and destroy the strongest Republicans. But he wouldn't be in the line of succession unless I'm mistaken.

Yep. This is what I posted in #49, in response to a poster's expression of surprise that she would expose him like that.
Not surprising. Maybe he kept refusing to travel down to Fort Marcy Park.
To: JustaCowgirl
The way you deal with subversives organizing a coup against you is by rounding up and jailing the oppostion, and in extreme cases, lining the oppostion up against a wall and shooting it.
This administration has done nothing to counter rogue CIA and State Department leftist operatives installed by the Clintons who are waging a dirty tricks campaign against it.
The enemy within is very close to triumph.
