You have every reason to be proud of your Marine son. Getting to meet the Veep is one. God bless him and wish him Merry Christmas and a safe New Year on behalf of all of us grateful and proud freepers.
Let us know if you get any feedback from your brave Marine.

I'm sure the VP will be very happy to tell your son and his comrades face-to-face how proud of them and grateful for their service he is. Please convey that message to all of them on behalf of all of us.

The power whore sits on the Armed Services Committee and probably knew about this straight up.
Pres. Bush should quit "respecting the office" and burn every kind of bridge on former co-Presidents, the Clintons.

I wonder if Novak will write a column exposing the name of THIS leaker and Hillary's spreading the info. She ought to be brought up on charges. Along with whomever gave her that info.

Has anyone else, except the FReepers, noted the "Hill anomaly" with respect to the VP's journey?

Pres. Bush should quit "respecting the office" and burn every kind of bridge on former co-Presidents, the Clintons. I can't help wondering if part of his obvious anger and fight in his address yesterday might have been due to Hilary's stunt, and the resulting increased danger to the VP.

Hillary (the big military expert), couldn't resist getting out in front on this. Posturing in front of the cameras, leaking Cheney's plans....there just doesn't seem to be a low point with her. She'll do whatever it takes to get the WH.

Amazing, that after 2.5 years of our involvement in Iraq, and on the eve of Chaney's departure, Hillary gives the 'code words' (my take) to the world that he is coming. I sure hope nothing happens to Chaney, otherwise, daB*tch may have some splain'n to do. Even as it is, the sure gull of this woman to have set herself up to appear she was giving orders to the V.P.

It looks like he visited the Green Zone, Camp Victory, and Taji.
Rumsfeld made a surprise visit to my base this summer, it also was a surprise and the event was by invitation only (mostly officers, I'm a civvie).

I don't know because this is the only forum I participate in. I hope someone who has e-mail addresses to investigative journalists can tip them off though.

Too many leaking stories.
More than one mole.
Hillary is toying with Cheney while risking his life.
She needs to get slammed & freeped at every appearance she makes.
The ultimate freep--> The beast Iraq photo-op. Send a large cutout photo standup of Hillary to Iraq and photograph the troops in various "poses" making appropriate gestures to the beast. Abu Graib would pale in comparison.

Anyone know who'd be privy ahead of time to the Veep's trip? I can't believe we'd be dumb enough to inform Congress ahead of time. Why the heck do they need to know? So who told Hillie? The USSS? Someone at State? The DOD? And does Hilliary's security clearance mean that even if someone blabbed about the Veep's trip, the person blabbing is off the hook?

Turn this matter over to Fitzgerald and the Grand Jury now!!

And speaking of Hillie, did anyone ever bother to ask her if she and/or anyone tied to her had anything to do with the dissemination of those pics from Abu Ghraib, which just happened to make it into the headlines after one of her trips to Iraq?
