Senator Accuses Times of Endangering U.S.
ASSOCIATED PRESS ^ | December 17, 2005

A Republican senator on Saturday accused The New York Times of endangering American security to sell a book by waiting until the day of the terror-fighting Patriot Act reauthorization to report that the government has eavesdropped on people without court-approved warrants.

''At least two senators that I heard with my own ears cited this as a reason why they decided to vote to not allow a bipartisan majority to reauthorize the Patriot Act,'' said Republican Sen. John Cornyn of Texas. ''Well, as it turns out the author of this article turned in a book three months ago and the paper, The New York Times, failed to reveal that the urgent story was tied to a book release and its sale by its author.''

Senator Cornyn is My senator and has consistently shown he has a set of cajones

The traiterous scum that released this story should be frog marched into Gitmo so they can commune with their brethren. The want to destroy this country and we will not allow that to happen.

At the current rate of falling readership...which I believe they've lost 40 percent over the past 18 months...I doubt it takes more than one more year before they are very affordable to be bought out by some South Korean businessman...which will be an amusing shift for a "big-boy" paper. It is fascinating how the paper simply continues on down its trail...and has yet to figure out why readers are dumping the paper.

I wonder if the government could buy the Times under the SCt's new eminent domain laws. After all, we could make more money with it, and increase government tax revenue, if we made it pro-American instead of the leftist rag that it is.

America doesn't have an al Jazeera, a propaganda arm of our side of this fight. It has truthful reporters and media (Fox, Washington Times etc.) and it has domestic outlets that spread Al Jazeera's propaganda. It is more correct to say that the NY Times is Al Jazeera's American branch.

We are in a state of war.

None of the legal or treaty consequences of being at war, however, apply.

Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

NO!

5 Times

1812,1846,1898,1917 and 1941

Those are the only conflicts in which congress declared war.

How could they POSSIBLY jail the Dem's 2008 Presidential shoe-in? The Hildabeast is not subject to the law, just as her philandering "husband" was not....

"Time we did something about the Times."

This is easy. Go through the Slimes and get the name and address of every advertiser. Then write them a letter saying you will not buy any of their products until they pull their advertising.

When you do this, make sure you put the name of the competing company so they know you are serious. If 100,000 people write and say they will no longer buy Oreos and instead eat Hydrox, it will send a message, especially if Hydrox sales go up.

The only way to beat back Marxism is to bankrupt it. Reagan proved that. Don't go to movies, don't buy the books, don't eat at their restaurants, don't watch or read their media lies.
