Since the Palestinian Authority’s takeover of Bethlehem in 1995, under the Oslo Accords with Israel, Bethlehem has been transformed from a Christian city into a Muslim city. Bethlehem’s remaining Christians now live in a condition of dhimmitude (a reference to the second-class citizenship Islam imposes on Christians) in the city of Jesus’ birth.

Actually, most Christians in world leadership knowingly brought that dhimmitude on Christians in Bethlehem. ...remember the standoff at the Church of the Nativity? ...divestment campaigns by all of the mainstream US Christian churches against Israel, Russia again recently considering outlawing the Talmud, the world's general, majority attitude against Israel,...?

The world can't give "land for peace" to the people of various Arab nations in its road map for the destruction of Israel and expect to have any Christian interests remaining there.
