In this one passage is the core of the fundamentalist Christian view Israel. God promised the land to Abraham...God does not go back on His promises. AND, God will bless those who bless Israel, and curse those who curse Israel...which is one reason why the muslims continue to lose wars and live in squalor.

Liberal Jews hate pro-Jewish Fundamentalist Protestants for one reason: the FP's know the true identity of the Jewish People is not that of a nation of sophisticated, urbane, world-weary, existentialist Weimar intellectuals (an understanding of the Jews so dear to Leftist Jews and anti-Semites) but rather that ancient, Theocratic, rustic, agricultural, pastoral tribe who introduced the world to the True G-d--and kicked major pagan butt while doing so. There are probably lots of heartland FP's in American who are unfamiliar with post-Biblical Jewry's urban and cosmopolitan status and who assume they are still raising wheat and sacrificing lambs in their ancient Homeland. Boy, how that must hurt.

Ironically, the majority of the leftists in this country are not even aware of the fact that they are being used. Not too long ago, I ventured over to DU. Someone over there actually posted that if they (DUers) were wrong about Islam, then they were in big trouble. But that's as far as the discussion went.

Liberal Jews must realize that conservative Christians are not looking for a theocracy. We are simply tired of what secular humanists, feminists, socialists, and the rest of the "ists" have done to this country. They have not made America stronger. They have weakened it with their moral relativism.

Indeed, all of the countries of Latin America, with the sole exception of poor Cuba, are so very Christian that every one of them outlaws abortion, because Catholicism teaches that life begins at conception.

America is a Christian nation, by and large, but not nearly so much so as all Latin American nations except Cuba. The Latin American nations actually maintain the Christian sacredness of life in their very laws.
