Please vote for FReeper "Doctor ZIn" [final result: Iraq The Model #1, Regime Change Iran #2]
Please vote [AGAIN!] for FReeper "Doctor ZIn" [You can vote for him EVERY DAY, from now until 12/15] ^ | December 13, 2005 | RonDog [and FRiends]

Posted on 12/13/2005 4:51:49 PM PST by RonDog

Our very own FReeper "Doctor ZIn" is now involved in a very important online contest between HIS website "Regime Change IRAN", and the equally well-respected "IRAQ the Model."
BOTH have been nominated as finalists for the "Best Middle East blog" in the Annual Weblog Awards.
WeblogAwards.org
www.WEBLOGawards.org
As Doctor ZIn posted on a previous thread:
Earlier today I wrote the folks over at Iraq the Model, last year's winner of the weblog award and current leader in the polls.

I told them that I admired their work and was therefore frustrated that we are "competitors" in the weblogawards.

They [the folks over at Iraq the Model] wrote back, almost immediately:
"I want you to know that I'm a big fan of your blog and I check it almost everyday!

I'm also in support of freedom for the people of Iran who deserve real democracy and true liberty.

Honestly, if your blog wins the title, I will be just as glad as if it were my blog."
So, since "Iraq the Model" won LAST year...
...and since the elections in Iraq show that tremendous progess is being made over there -- in spite of DNC/media reports to the contrary...
...and since Doctor ZIn is a FReeper...
...and since Iran is currently governed by a MAD MAN...
...and since "Iraq the Model" is O.K. with "Regime Change Iran" winnning THIS year:

Please vote RIGHT NOW, while you are thinking about it for:
"Regime Change IRAN"

I have had Christian Iranian friend recently tell me that we will have to be at war with Iran soon from all the Radical Islamic types there now (more than before being vocal).
I think 2006 will involve Iran for sure.

"Please after you vote for Regime Change Iran go to Time Magazines Picture of the Year. Michael Yon's photo of of Major Beiger cradling the Iraqi girl is up for photo of the year. Michael captured the true heart of our Military in this photo.

Thanks for posting this. I could not get in to vote when I got Michael's e-mail. I was able to vote thanks to your posting here.

I have been voting for Regime Change Iran for several days now and encourage everyone to do the same from now through Thursday, but only once per 24 hours please.

Update:

We are keeping pace with out friends at ITM and if we keep voting we still have time to overtake their lead. We gained 600 votes in 36 hours over the weekend. So it is still possible to make up the 183 votes we are presently down and reestablish the lead.

So vote now and keep voting every 24 hours until the evening of December 15th.

Persia Bump (I refuse to call that country by any other name than its glorious ancient name). However, I once read that the name Iran/Eran is of Persian origin too (and not Arabic). Is this true?
