I couldn't possibly care less about what the euros think! I care about us, not them. You are totally out of sync with two members of our Supreme Court who have publically stated (on the record) that they do not follow the US Constitution but follow international law in ruling on US matters. BTW, 52.4 percent of Americans agree with you and 99.9 percent of REAL Americans agree with you.

We know the death penalty doesn't resolve anything Except reduce the recidivism rate to zero...

It seems that the violence of crime and murder open a circle that demands real closure though the law.

I say the maximum population of Death Row should be 10. When one moves in, one moves out.

That closure is the death of the murderer.

Today, it is not safe anywhere, thanks to the drug culture, That's true around Western world once the psychiatric associations sought the closure of state and government mental hospitals in the USA and Europe. With the sympathetic help of politicians like John Kennedy, because of his sister Rosemary, the crazies are now free to turn the pleasant streets of the Scotland of the 50's, and elsewhere in the West, into the "Bedlam" of the last 45 years.
We've simply let the criminally insane out to walk among us. They're entertaining, at best, and seek nuclear weapons at worst.

Yes, the decent of Scotland....and America is very sad indeed. I remember in the 60s the gun control advocates pointed constantly to England as an example of gun control that works. The English murder rate was so far below that of the American rate that eyebrows were raised. We had to point out that all violent crime was less there. We were tempted to attempt racial norming of the statistics too.
But nowadays English gun laws and English crime rates are not held up to be such a great model for our future.
But it seems we're trying hard to catch up to France with problems caused through massive immigration.

In France only shariah dominated neighborhoods have the right to have their own death penalties.
