A few dozen people gathered in front of the state Capitol on Monday to protest the execution of Stanley Tookie Williams and also to denounce police brutality and what they say is poor media coverage of that issue.

The rally was organized by Earl Armstrong, whose brother, Thomas Charles Armstrong, was injured during an encounter with Denver police on Nov. 11.

Thomas Armstrong was scheduled to appear at the rally but did not show up.

"He's signing off the life and death of a man he's not fit to lick the boots of," Churchill said.

Let's pretend that Jeffrey Dahmer hadn't been killed by another inmate and was under sentence of death in prison. Now let's pretend that after fifteen or twenty years on death row Jeffrey Dahmer wrote a couple of books extolling the virtues of a vegetarian diet and the dangers of eating meat. Would you be supporting Jeffrey Dahmer the same way?

Interesting choice of words. I agree, Ahhnold is not fit to lick Tookie's boots, Ahhnold is far above such a vile degradation. Ward on the other hand, is definitely fit to lick Tookie's boots and, in fact, is licking them as he speaks in the bullhorn. He will continue licking them until....well...he will continue licking them.

I would only let Ward lick my boots after I have walked through a freshly pattied cow pasture.
