The Democrats held the blacks in slavery; the Republicans freed them.
The Democrats held the black people in segregation; the Republicans freed them.
The Democrats hold the blacks in today's ghettos; Republicans work to set them free.
Clooney again? Didn't he recently say (or imply) that he would be keeping a low profile about politics, or is that just wishful thinking on my part?

If one single Liberal would lose the emotional, self-induced hysteria they attach to EVERY issue, if one single Liberal would possess him/herself of the facts before shooting off his/her mouth, if one single Liberal would EVER disassociate him/herself from lame socialist dogma, if one single Liberal would EVER, EVEN ONCE demonstrate any respect for ALL Americans and not just pander to the half educated/ill educated crowd of free loaders they call their voter base... then maybe Liberal would not be a 'bad word'.
If the MSM would be truthful, they would call them scum of the earth. But the MSM can't do that without calling themselves scum of the earth also.

I ceased watching TV a while back, other than an occasional football game or whatnot.
The polls are bought and paid for bogosities. Today, polls are used to manipulate public opinion, not glean any information. Too, as near as I can tell, for-public-consumption "news" primarily consists of blaming the president for the nation's ills, large and small? I have a grudging respect, in a machiavellian sense, for the organizational and staying-on-message capabilities of a myriad of agencies. Actually, 'liberal' is just another word for 'socialist or communist'.
IMO you shouldn't underestimate the influence of Clooney's films. They're indocrinating people.
It's time we had more films out there giving the conservative point of view. Conservatives like Steve Forbes, Wm. Buckley, etc. could put their money behind good films.
Because he spends much of his waking life surrounded by people telling him he's right.
