BEIRUT - A powerful explosion struck a Christian suburb of the Lebanese capital on Monday, apparently targeting an official convoy, residents said. A local resident said the blast took place on the road from Beit Mery to the capital, near Mansuriyeh. "I overtook the convoy of a senior official in Mansuriyeh and the explosion occurred two minutes later," he said.
"An explosion rocked the building where I live," said a journalist in the east Beirut suburb of Hazmiyeh.
The pro-Syrians are not too happy lately and they have been busy I guess.

OPINION: If past Christmas times are an indicator plus all the current threats (most of them jihad propaganda garbage); then yes, I agree.
Cairo?
Rare, I know.
Sorry about that.
Smiling...
I was too slow at the keyboard. There was a cross posting on this news.
Cairo. Good guess.
Casablanca? Morocco?

"Car bomb kills four in Beirut"
ARTICLE SNIPPET: "A high-ranking security source at the scene said anti-Syrian member of parliament and journalist Gebran Tueni may have been the target of the attack and may have died in the blast.
The source said Tueni's cell phone and laptop computer were found at the site of the bombing.
Journalist Anthony Mills called it "a scene of destruction," saying windows were broken in buildings for hundreds of meters.
Video from the scene showed several burned-out vehicles along the roadway.
At least 10 cars were destroyed, some tossed into a valley in the hilly Christian Mkalles area on Beirut's eastern entrance, The Associated Press reported."
ARTICLE SNIPPET: "On February 14, former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri was killed in Beirut when a car bomb exploded by his convoy."

Makes you wonder, do they really think that this will help people sway to the pro-Syria side when they keep killing anti-Syria leaders?
