p>The Talk Shows
Sunday, December 11th, 2005
Guests to be interviewed today on major television talk shows:
FOX NEWS SUNDAY (Fox Network): Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, R-Tenn.
MEET THE PRESS (NBC): Former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright; Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C.
FACE THE NATION (CBS): Rep. John Murtha, D-Pa.; Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Ala.
THIS WEEK (ABC): Zalmay Khalilzad, the U.S. ambassador to Iraq; Sen. Joseph Biden, D-Del.; Health and Human Services Secretary Mike Leavitt.
LATE EDITION (CNN) : Khalilzad; Sen. Jon Kyl, R-Ariz.
Graham was horrible today. Worse than usual. At the very least it would have been nice if he'd mentioned that Clinton's Justice Department knew there was a link between AQ and Iraq because the federal indictment against Osama bin Laden mentions that AQ will NOT attack Iraq in exchange for weapons development.
Now that sounds exactly like an arrangement and relationship to me.
Murtha is on at the moment and being allowed to expound on all his talking points.
Sessions will be on next and I bet he will NOT be given equal time and treatment.
Shame they were not on together.
Nope, but then I would not be in the market for one of them. It amazes me how the left can demand saving Tookie while saying Terri Schievo was not worth it.
I believe so at a petrol storage unit I believe I have to confess I was attending to the pigeons this morning and this afternoon am watching live soccer on TV. Will try to find out more info.
I missed the interview .. sorry about that
Now I wishing I missed Grahms interview
Graham is a putz
LOL. Juan says that there must be something in the eggnog because no one else on the panel sees what he sees. LOL.
Juan: Someone ought to check the Christmas eggnog around this table -- I and a lot of Americans don't see things the way the rest of you do.
Agreed. Being on death row for so long should be cruel and unusual punishment. The US needs to lump all appeals into one instead of year after year of new appeals for new, usually made up, reasons.
GAG. Schieffer calling Murtha a "war hero".
Jeez! Give me the proverbial "break".
Could be to soften up Hellary and the Dems position on abortion??
They haven't soften their position .. though they have changed their wording
Chris did end the segment talking about Alito and how many would vote against him
HO' BIDEN HEDGES THE BET!!!!!
PUTS THE "ODDS OF WINNING THE WAR IN IRAQ AT 50/50."
LOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooooser!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
if MTP wanted a REAL matchup, they'd have put on Eagleburger v. Halfbright. The woman is a dunce, but fortunately for her, she was up against LIndsay Graham
I actually got to see a few minutes of Murtha....and what I heard made my blood boil...
Scheiffer asks him if, with our troops deployed in Iraq...would we be able to deal with an attack elsewhere in the world..and MURTHA says NO!!!
Well, that is just f'n terrific that Murtha has informed all enemies that we are so vulnerable!!! Whatta guy!
Keep talking Lindsey .. you are kissing your re-relection chances good bye
He is SUCH AN IDIOT
Sessions up on Farce the Nation.
Tookie committed handful of murders. Newsweeks Isikoff committed both handsfull & legsfull of murders by writing koran-gate lies without any punishment. That amazes me not even him losing his job.
Hey Maddy ... does that include the Oil For Food Program that you pushed for??
"we should have a seminar for our guys on how to conduct themselves and the arguments they can use against the left"
Sort of like a mock court with freepers acting as jurors and Rep. Sam Johnson & Senator Jeff Sessions could rotate as judge and we could pull the most inane, slanted questions from the media to toss at them for practice! What fun!! I'll bring my kazoo to toot them out when they give a dumb answer :)
