NEW YORK, Dec. 10 (UPI) -- Talkers magazine reports conservative hosts Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity are the most popular radio hosts in the United States.
More than 13.75 million people listen to Limbaugh per week while Hannity draws more then 12.5 million weekly listeners, Talkers reported.
Michael Savage is third with more than 8 million listeners a week.
There is tie for fourth place between shock jock Howard Stern -- soon due to move to Sirius Satellite Radio -- and Dr. Laura Schlessinger with more than 7.75 million weekly listeners, the New York Daily News reported Saturday.
Laura Ingraham filled out the Top 5 with more than 5 million.
Talkers said it used Arbitron data and "other reliable indicators" for its semiannual rankings report.

Laura Ingraham should be no. 2.
I think Tony is only on Fox news associated Radio Stations. I could be wrong though.
It's far more informative, educational and funny than anything else on at that time.
I'm sure he's good conservative but why do my wonderfully rabid right wing friends call him Tony "Snore"?
From watching him rarely on TV - he does tend to pacify...
Seriously, I can't forgive his his support of Reno/Clinton returning Elian to the gulag though...serious error on his part.
In my opinion, these ratings are quite accurate. However, I would have expected a greater difference between the numbers for El Rushbo and Sean Hannity. Rush is a legend; he is far more intelligent than Hannity and is more comfortable with the mike.
I listen to Hannity every once in a while but I still think El Rushbo is far better.
Numbers for Michael Savage and Michael Medved are interesting. So much for Medved advertising his show as the nation's premier radio show for "pop culture and politics." Boortz is also great.....I used to listen to him when I was in the Atlanta area. I think he understands militant Islam much better than anybody else (except Rush).
Hannity is reaching "Joe and Joetta six-pack" for our side so has adequate level of presenting the issues and is, you must admit, on fire for the Good.
Mark Levin isn't national - and I wish he were.
That one I heard a couple days ago and it was superb!
Another blast from the past: Having My Baby...sung by the "reverend" Jackson to the Anka tune
Hugh Hewitt lost a lot of credibility with his blind support of the disatrous Harriet Miers nomination.
I have been disappointed several times lately, most recently Friday, when Rush has made "my dear friend"-type comments regarding Chris Matthews...no way, no how can I--nor should Rush, IMHO, give Chris Matthews any kind of positive aura.
Like I said, Rush has done this twice lately. To me it is starting to sound like someone whose personal acquaintanceship is getting a little too tight with the other side (and Matthews, no less!) No one I have seen here at FR has anything but contempt for CM.
Yay for Rush and Savage!

"O'reilly is tied at number seven"
Yeah, his name's put at number seven on a list after ten other names, and he's not even mentioned in the article.
He's got to be thrilled.
I've been listening to Rush (when my job permits) since he went national. I get in a real funk when he has a replacement host. I love Rush's humor. I will never forget the time Rush was talking about Jocelyn Elders wanting to teach kindergartners how to masturbate and then he went on to a story about PETA being mad at the Indians in New Mexico who, for sport, bury chickens up to their necks in the dirt and then ride by on a horse and try to yank the chicken out. Rush ended the segment with his observation about how professionally he was able to transition from masturbation to "chokin' chickens." A classic Limbaugh radio moment that I'll never forget. LOL!!!
Ping....thought you might be interested in this article/thread.
I recommend Michael Medved and Dennis Praeger! I have been listening to them both a lot lately, their shows are very high quality.
Less often I listen to Lauran Ingraham and Hugh Hewitt, their shows are okay but not as good as the first two.
I've become a Limbaugh subscriber. I can't listen during the 9am-noon time he is on, so it was worth the $49 to be able to listen when I want.
WTF? Medved was beat out by the idiot a-hole O'Reilly and the crackpot Noory, and Hewitt and Prager didn't even make the list?
Hannity is a poor interviewer/debater, and gives WAY too much airtime to liberals.
Savage is a nutbar, even though the substance of his message is right on target.
We don't get Snow or Ingram in Atlanta.
Rush is the only one of the "big" talk show hosts I can stomach on a regular basis.
Laura is my fave. Love that gal. Show is hilarious. I like all the little sound bites in there.
