We will not be playing all the artists and versions that we have. We don't have the space, but we feel you'll get enough variations to enjoy yourself. Background Information: The Englishman, John Francis Wade, wrote both the words and the music, Adeste Fideles. The Musical score was first published in 1782 in Samuel Webbe's An Essay on the Church Plain Chant in 1782. John Francis Wade first included it in his own 1751 publication of Cantus Diversi. The lyrics were first published in 1760. If you hear someone using tissues, it's MoJo. This song has watery effects. To our British and Aussie allies, MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Background Info: Joy to the World The words and lyrics of the old Christmas carol 'Joy to the World' were written in 1719 by Isaac Watts (1674-1748). The father of John Watts was a Non-conformist and so extreme were his views that he was imprisoned twice. His father's influence over Isaac was demonstrated when he choose to attend Nonconformist Academy at Stoke Newington in preference to a University. Watts was ordained as a Pastor of an Independent congregation. He wrote many hymns and Carols and was awarded a Doctor of Divinity degree by the the University of Edinburgh in 1728. The music to the carol is by George Frederick Handel (1685-1759). MoJo Thought: Have you ever noticed while reading articles that when referring to GOD that many folks decide to write it *G-D*? What is that? Is it supposed to mean that it is less potent and offensive by keeping the *o* from appearing? My suggestion to these folks isn't to use God at all. If you can't add the *o*, don't write it. This is true for those of you that believe or don't.

Sung to the tune of "I saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus"
"I Saw Santa Wearing Camouflage"
I saw Santa wearing camouflage
Underneath the starlit sky last night
He didn't see me creep through the sands to have a peek
He thought that I was tucked away in my Bedroll fast asleep
Then I saw Santa hop out of his Jeep
Leaving all of Iraq in Peaceful Sleep
Carrying Freedom and Democracy
If only America could see
Santa wearing camouflage.
I saw Santa wearing camouflage
Underneath the starlit sky last night
He didn't see me creep through the sands to have a peek
He thought that I was tucked away in my Bedroll fast asleep
Then I saw Santa drive off in his Jeep
Leaving all of Iraq in Peaceful Sleep
What a laugh it will be
When America finally understands
Santas wearing camouflage.
Santas wearing camouflage.

One beautiful December evening Pepito and his girlfriend Pepita were sitting by the side of the ocean. It was a romantic full moon, when Pepe said "Hey, mamacita, let's play Weeweechu."
"Oh no, not now, lets look at the moon" said Pepa.
"Oh, c'mon baby, let's you and I play weeweechu. I love you and it's the perfect time," Pepito begged.
"But I wanna just hold your hand and watch the moon."
"Please, corazoncito, just once, play Weeweechu with me."
Pepita looked at Pepito and said, "OK, one time, we'll play Weeweechu."
Pepito grabbed his guitar and they both sang.....
"Weeweechu a Merry Christmas, "Weeweechu a Merry Christmas, "Weeweechu a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year."
Happy Holidays!

Drumbo, who plays tunes for our troops every Friday night and Saturday, is/was a drummer. In the Navy he was with the Steel Band. He has lots of stories to tell about his drumming adventures.
I would be doing much better if our weather would get back to winter, and below freezing. Several days of above freezing has brought terrible ice everywhere. Driving to work is going to be an adventure.
